Ariella Lindenfeld, LCAT's style
💙 Warm 👂 Listener 🎨 Creative 🤝 CollaborativeWhy Ariella Lindenfeld, LCAT chose to be in the helping profession
I’ve always been drawn to listening to people’s stories and being present with them through the challenges life can bring. For a long time, I thought my path would lead me toward either art or psychology, since both felt meaningful and alive for me. When I discovered that I could bring the two together, everything seemed to fall into place. That realization guided me toward becoming a licensed Creative Arts Therapist, where I’m able to use creativity as a tool for exploration, healing, and growth.
For me, therapy isn’t about having the right answers—it’s about creating the kind of space where people can begin to hear themselves more clearly. I see therapy as a way to help people rewrite their stories, discover balance, and move toward goals that feel authentic and sustainable. At the center of my work is the belief that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. It’s this belief that continues to inspire me in my practice and makes me grateful to walk alongside people as they navigate their own journeys.
Ariella Lindenfeld, LCAT's approach
My approach is rooted in listening deeply and creating a space where you feel safe to bring your full self into the room. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to uncover patterns, explore the story you’ve been carrying, and open up new possibilities for the future. Because I’m trained in Creative Arts Therapy, I often bring creativity into the work when it feels supportive, blending traditional talk therapy with creative methods. This flexibility allows the process to adapt to your needs, so that it feels personal and meaningful rather than one-size-fits-all.
At the heart of my work is a focus on helping you gain clarity, find balance, and move toward the goals that matter most to you. I approach therapy in a way that is both compassionate and practical, always centered on what feels authentic for you. Sometimes that means rewriting your story in a way that feels more empowering, and other times it means slowing down to really listen to yourself. No matter where you are starting from, my goal is to offer a grounded, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and encouraged as you move through your own process of growth.
What you can expect from sessions with Ariella Lindenfeld, LCAT
In our sessions, you can expect real conversation and genuine engagement. I’m not the type of therapist who simply sits back and nods—I ask questions, share observations, and give feedback when it feels helpful. At the same time, you’re always in the driver’s seat. My role is to create space for you to process, reflect, and discover what feels true for you, while offering guidance and support along the way. Together, we’ll explore your past and present, set meaningful goals, and use tools—whether through art, creativity, or more traditional approaches—that best fit your needs.
Every session is tailored to you, with the intention that you leave feeling heard, supported, and equipped with new insight. My hope is that therapy not only helps you gain clarity but also empowers you to make choices that bring you closer to balance and fulfillment. If this approach resonates with you, I’d love the opportunity to connect and begin this work together. Taking the first step isn’t always easy, but it can open the door to meaningful growth and change.
Ariella Lindenfeld, LCAT's experience working with the Jewish community
I am a Venezuelan Jew who grew up deeply connected to Jewish life, and that background gives me a unique perspective on the many different ways Judaism can be lived and experienced. I was raised around Chabad, but I never lived strictly by Chabad practices, so I’ve always felt at home somewhere in the middle—modern, open, and connected. Because of my name and identity, many Jewish clients naturally find their way to me, and I’ve had the privilege of working with people across the full spectrum: Orthodox, Modern Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, cultural Jews, and those who may not feel religiously connected but still want a therapist who understands their background. For me, it is an honor to hold space for the diversity of Jewish experience.
In my career, I’ve worked in both general psychiatric units and an Orthodox Jewish unit, which has given me firsthand experience with the needs of observant clients as well as those who express their Judaism in different ways. I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families as they navigate cultural identity, religious practice, and differences in religiosity within relationships. I am also comfortable holding space for clients with a wide range of perspectives on Israel and Jewish community life, approaching these conversations with openness and respect. My goal is always to meet each client where they are—religiously, culturally, and personally—so that every part of their identity feels seen, valued, and supported.
