🥇 Empowering 🎯 Direct 🤝 CollaborativeWhy Goldi Srebro, LCSW chose to be in the helping profession
I know you wish for me to be a magician and wave away your pain. To say some spell and have anxiety, trauma, depression, self doubt, failure, and loneliness disappear. To transform your relationships to the way you wish them to be. And to then wave a wand and bring in joy, calm, presence, and confidence. Although this may be hard to believe right now, you have magic and resilience inside you already. I’m choosing to be here, to join you on your journey to healing, because I believe in you, even when you don’t believe in yourself. I became a therapist, because I understand the desire for change, and I learned that the magic is in recreating our relationship with the parts of us we work so hard to push away.
Goldi Srebro, LCSW's approach
Personalizing care is important to me, and together we will develop a tailored approach to bring out the magic and wisdom inside you. Although I don’t have a magic wand (yet!), with specialized training in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), my intention is to blend and integrate these modalities in a way that supports your ability to shift the old patterns inside, discover your inherent worth, and achieve your goals.
What you can expect from sessions with Goldi Srebro, LCSW
So, no magic wand or spells. Instead, you can expect collaboration and compassion as we work together to understand patterns and begin to develop ways to relate to them differently. We can develop ways for you to feel more centered and shift painful memories and beliefs about yourself to be placed in the past, so that you can live the life you’re hoping for in the present.
Goldi Srebro, LCSW's experience working with the Jewish community
Since becoming a therapist, I have had the privilege to work with individuals from various backgrounds, including within the Jewish community. It is an honor to work with those across the spectrum of this community and beyond, each bringing their unique perspectives and stories. I look forward to getting to know yours and embarking on this journey together!
