Mattie Chein's style
💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 💭 Open minded 🎨 CreativeWhy Mattie Chein chose to be in the helping profession
I’ve always been drawn to understanding people’s inner worlds—what drives them, what blocks them, and what helps them come alive. After experiencing my own journey through depression and major life transitions, I became passionate about helping others find clarity, connection, and emotional freedom. This work allows me to support people in rewriting old patterns and stepping into lives that feel more authentic and aligned.
Mattie Chein's approach
My approach blends deep insight with practical tools. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, IFS, and somatic work to help you understand the “why” behind your patterns, not just manage the symptoms. I specialize in working with high-functioning adults, entrepreneurs, and creatives navigating burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, and substance use. Sessions are collaborative, curious, and designed to help you reconnect with your core self.
What you can expect from sessions with Mattie Chein
Therapy with me is warm, engaging, and tailored to your pace. I ask thoughtful questions, explore the mind-body connection, and help you tune into parts of yourself that may have been ignored or shut down. You don’t need to be “broken” to benefit from therapy—just open to looking inward. We’ll work together to move beyond survival mode and toward a life that actually feels good.
