Orly Rosenzweig, LCSW's style
š Warm š„ Empowering š§ Calm š¤ CollaborativeWhy Orly Rosenzweig, LCSW chose to be in the helping profession
One of the most meaningful aspects of therapy is the opportunity it gives a person to discover their inner self and reconnect with their inner voice. I chose to become a therapist because I truly believe in the power of this work and in the healing that can happen through genuine human connection. I personally understand how critical the relationship between a client and therapist is in helping someone feel whole again, to feel known, understood, seen, cared for, and to gain clarity during moments that can otherwise feel overwhelming or isolating. Having someone meet you in a safe space with warmth, compassion, and without judgment can create the foundation needed to navigate pain, confusion, worry, dysregulation, loneliness, and the deeper thoughts and feelings that are often hard to face alone.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to express yourself honestly and confront the parts of yourself that may feel difficult or unfamiliar. While that process can feel daunting, the right support can make it feel grounding, empowering, and at times truly life-saving. My goal is to help you feel understood while supporting you in building a stronger connection to yourself and your own voice. I feel deeply humbled and honored to be a part of this work and to walk alongside people on their journey toward healing, clarity, and self-understanding.
Orly Rosenzweig, LCSW's approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in truly being there for you in the way that you need me. I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, which is why I thoughtfully and carefully intertwine different approaches depending on the person sitting in front of me. Some of the modalities I draw from include humanistic, psychodynamic, trauma-informed therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, among others. While these approaches, theories, and research-based interventions are important to the work we do together, my primary focus is always on you, your needs, your experiences, and the pace that feels right for you.
The way I approach this work is by being fully present with you and genuinely curious about who you are and the many layers that make you who you are. I want to understand how you think, how your experiences have shaped you, and how you came to see yourself and the world in the ways that you do. When thoughts or emotions begin to feel overwhelming or confusing, I believe in slowing things down so that you can feel safe while gaining a deeper understanding of what may be underneath those feelings. My hope is that through my presence, you feel supported enough to reflect, gain insight, and better understand yourself, your relationships, the experiences that have impacted you, and the decisions you make throughout your life.
What you can expect from sessions with Orly Rosenzweig, LCSW
Coming to therapy can feel incredibly nerve-racking and is often a huge step in and of itself. Trusting someone, trusting the process, and allowing yourself to be vulnerable can feel daunting, especially when you may already be carrying so much internally. At the same time, with the right therapist and the right therapeutic relationship, therapy can become a deeply supportive experience and a true gift to yourself. I understand the courage it takes to begin this process, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.
In our sessions, you will be met with warmth, compassion, and a supportive environment where judgment is suspended and your experiences are honored. I view you as the expert of your own life, while my role is to walk alongside you every step of the way as you explore, process, and gain insight into what feels most present and important to you. Together, we can create a safe, empathetic, and nurturing space where you feel supported in reflecting on your experiences, understanding yourself more deeply, and navigating whatever challenges or emotions may arise along the way.
Orly Rosenzweig, LCSW's experience working with the Jewish community
I have extensive experience working within the Jewish community with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and religious affiliations. Through my work with Jews from many different walks of life, including but not limited to Chassidish, Yeshivish, Modern Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Sephardi, Ashkenazi, Mizrahi, Hareidi, religious, secular, affiliated, and non affiliated individuals, I have developed a deep sense of humility, reverence, and interconnectedness in the work that I do. I understand that each personās relationship to Judaism, culture, family, identity, and community is deeply personal and nuanced, and I strive to approach every individual with openness, sensitivity, and respect for their unique experiences and perspectives.
Having worked with the broader Jewish community for many years, I continue to learn a tremendous amount from the people and communities I have the privilege of supporting. I find this work to be deeply meaningful and impactful, both on an individual level and within the community as a whole. It is incredibly important to me that people feel seen and understood within the context of their lived experiences, values, and backgrounds. I feel genuinely honored to be trusted with peopleās stories and to support them as they navigate challenges, growth, healing, and self-understanding.
