You don’t need to figure out your life alone. That idea is really at the heart of how I work with women. One of the most meaningful and satisfying parts of what I do is giving women practical tools to shift their lives in real, lasting ways. I feel deeply grateful to be in a position where I can help someone recognize that they are not stuck and that change is possible for them. There is something powerful that happens when a woman starts to see that she has options and support.
Over the years, I have taken part in many different forms of seminars and therapies, and I’ve learned a lot from each one. Still, I’ve found that coaching with a Torah lens is the most empowering and life-altering approach for the women I work with. It brings together clarity, grounding, and real transformation in a way that feels both practical and deeply meaningful. I am so excited to help women reconnect to their own happiness and well-being and to give them the tools to shift the way they think and feel about themselves, their relationships, and their lives.
Erika Needleman's approach
I started my journey as a yoga student and later became a teacher. Along the way, I immersed myself in all sorts of self-help seminars and personal growth work, including programs like Landmark. In my early 20s, I found Torah, and something in me immediately recognized it as different. In Torah, I found the missing pieces I had been searching for in other traditions and teachings. It brought depth, structure, and meaning in a way that helped everything else I had learned finally come together.
Today, I bring all of those experiences into my work. I integrate my understanding of breath, meditation, and mindfulness with modern coaching tools and techniques, including somatic approaches and other body-based practices. At the same time, my foundation is always rooted in the belief that everything becomes more meaningful, and real growth becomes more possible, when we bring Hashem into the picture. That combination allows me to support people in a way that is both practical and deeply connected to something greater.
What you can expect from sessions with Erika Needleman
My goal is for you to not need me. This is not talk therapy, and it is not meant to be a long, weekly process where you talk about your life for years while nothing really shifts. I don’t see it as a space to just revisit the same patterns over and over. I see it as a focused, active process where real change actually happens.
The structure is simple. In our first session, we go through your life story so I can really understand where you’re coming from. From the second session onward, we get to work together in a very intentional way. Over the course of our work, I help you build the tools you’re missing so you can change the way you think, feel, and act. We look at the story you’ve been telling yourself about your life, and we work on rewriting it into something more honest, empowering, and aligned with who you want to be.
I typically work with women anywhere from 3 to 15 sessions, depending on what they’re looking to work on. Between sessions, I stay in touch on WhatsApp because life happens in real time, not just in a session once a week. I want to hear from you, support you, cheer you on, and help you problem-solve as things come up. I also give homework, but nothing overwhelming or unrealistic, just practical and doable steps that actually move things forward.
I am not a drill sergeant. My style is more cheerleader, best friend, mentor, and big sister energy. And even though we are doing serious, meaningful work, the process is meant to feel engaging and even fun. Really.
Erika Needleman's experience working with the Jewish community
I work with women all across the Jewish spectrum, from secular to Chassidish and Yeshivish. I really value the diversity of where people are coming from and the different ways they relate to their Jewish identity and life. That range is something I deeply respect, and it shapes the way I show up in my work. At the core, I am working with women who want to live more consciously and more honestly within themselves and their relationship with Hashem.
I love to talk about Hashem and what it means to bring Him into our lives and our struggles. Not in a Pollyanna way, and not in a way that bypasses reality. I mean in a real, grounded, honest, and sometimes raw way, where we can actually hold the full complexity of life and still stay connected. I am a baalas teshuva myself, and I work with women who are geirim, FFB, and BT, each with their own unique path and questions. What I really believe is that every one of us needs to choose this Jewish life and this relationship with Hashem for ourselves, not just live it by default because we were raised that way.

What people have to say about working with me:
-
I was first drawn to Erika based on her social media posts. Her approach to life and insights into human behavior consistently resonated with me; she was one of those people who “got it.” Not only did I invite her to be on my podcast, DMC, to discuss processing emotions, but I also booked a private session. Erika was able to really break down an issue that I was dealing with. She gave me exactly what I was looking for: clarity. In my session with Erika, I felt deeply heard and understood. I felt comfortable showing my vulnerability in expressing my struggle. Erika was able to lead me down a path of self understanding and self compassion and show me the paths ahead of me with clarity. Her process was empowering — Erika leads you along the way to your own self discovery. Erika is wise, sensitive and skilled; I highly recommend meeting with her and you will see for yourself.

I have known Erika for many years and recently did her Adultify course. Erika is a beautiful and wise person who is filled with wisdom. Through her training in Judaism and coaching, she offers insights and tools to help you heal yourself and be the best version of 'you.' Through her vulnerability, you can see that she walks the walk of applying these tools in her own life. She is a joy to be around and learn from. She is a safe person to share your own inner struggles with as she is filled with empathy and care. I highly recommend working with her

Working with Erika was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had heard her on a podcast and felt like she was speaking to my soul and immediately was hooked. The skills and tools that she has been able to give over to me are things that are practical and manageable in my everyday life. Emotional regulation is something that I never knew much about and quickly realized was something I was in desperate need of. Erika was there, she listened, didn't judge and guided. I personally have benefited tremendously from working with her and highly encourage anyone who is on the fence to jump over and get some of the gold she gives over! She is truly a messenger from Hashem that I am so grateful came into my life.

In 6 months of working with Erika, I went from feeling so frustrated with my husband and alone in my marriage to feeling loved, seen, and connected. He didn't do any of the work! I was able to totally change the trajectory of the relationship just through my own work. I'm so grateful. Erika really showed me I'm so much more powerful than I realized.

I'm a secular Jew and wanted to bring Judaism into my life more. I'm also the CFO of an international corporation. I initially wanted Erika to just help with the Jewish part, but as we worked together, she helped me with my parenting, marriage, and she inspired me to totally reimagine my career path. Working with Erika has been the most inspiring and surprising of experiences. My life is forever enriched because of her.
