🎯 Direct 💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 💠Open mindedWhy Tzipi Davatgar, LSW chose to be in the helping profession
Becoming a therapist was not just a career choice for me—it was a calling that resonated deeply with who I am. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to understanding and supporting others during difficult times, often finding myself as the person friends and family turned to for guidance. This innate desire to help people feel seen, understood, and supported became the foundation of my journey into the helping profession.
I believe that everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can heal, grow, and improve their lives. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but having someone to walk alongside you and help you navigate the complexities can make all the difference. As a therapist, I strive to be that presence for my clients—a steady source of support and encouragement.
What fulfills me most is witnessing a transformation. Whether it’s an individual gaining clarity about their emotions, a couple learning to communicate and reconnect, or someone uncovering their inner strength, the ability to contribute to those moments of growth is both humbling and rewarding. Helping people discover more about themselves, their patterns, and their potential is at the core of what I do.
My goal is to empower others to overcome their challenges, embrace their resilience, and live lives filled with purpose and authenticity. It’s a privilege to hold space for people as they learn, heal, and create meaningful changes, and I feel honored every day to play a role in their journeys.
Tzipi Davatgar, LSW's approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in an attachment-based lens. I recognize how early relationships shape who we are and influence the way we navigate life today. Understanding these foundational experiences provides a framework for insight and healing, allowing us to address patterns that may no longer serve us.
In our sessions, I take a solution-focused, goal-oriented approach. Therapy with me is about more than just talking—it's about creating actionable steps that lead to meaningful change. To help you achieve lasting growth, I incorporate evidence-based methods such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems), tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs.
For couples, I draw from my training in the Gottman Method, using proven tools and techniques to help clients strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and rebuild trust. Whether you're navigating individual challenges or relational struggles, my goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment where you can gain the skills and insight needed to thrive.
Together, we will work toward uncovering and building on your strengths, fostering deeper understanding, and creating lasting, positive change in your life.

Tzipi Davatgar, LSW's experience working with the Jewish community
My experience working with the Jewish community spans a wide range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. As a Jew myself, I bring a deep understanding of our culture, traditions, and values to my work. This cultural connection allows me to foster stronger relationships with my clients and create a therapeutic experience that feels both relatable and meaningful.
My background and awareness of the unique dynamics within the Jewish community provide a valuable perspective in addressing challenges that may arise, whether they are related to family, identity, or navigating cultural expectations. At the same time, I approach each client with openness and inclusivity, ensuring that individuals from all levels of observance and diverse backgrounds feel respected, understood, and supported in our work together.
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns, gain clarity, and experience growth. By combining cultural sensitivity with evidence-based therapeutic practices, I aim to help clients find greater self-awareness, healing, and connection in their personal and communal lives.
