The Art of Mindful Dating's Purpose or Mission

Group therapy takes place in a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel supported and understood. Being part of a group allows you to connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges, helping you realize that you are not alone in your journey. The group setting encourages both giving and receiving support, which can be a powerful tool for personal growth and healing.

Joining a group also helps you find your voice, express your thoughts and feelings, and gain new perspectives on your experiences. It fosters healthier ways of relating to others while deepening your understanding of yourself. In addition, the group serves as a reliable safety net, providing consistent encouragement, guidance, and connection as you navigate life’s challenges. This supportive community can make a meaningful difference in how you cope, grow, and thrive.

Jewish Community Experience

I am an active member of the Jewish community and deeply committed to creating spaces where connection, understanding, and support can thrive. In my group, single women are welcomed into a warm and compassionate environment where they can share their experiences openly and honestly. The focus is on fostering meaningful relationships, both with oneself and with others, in a setting that values empathy, respect, and authenticity.

This group provides a space to explore challenges, celebrate successes, and grow alongside peers who truly understand the unique experiences of single women in today’s world. By sharing stories, insights, and support, participants are able to build deeper connections, strengthen their sense of community, and leave with practical tools for nurturing both friendships and romantic relationships. It is a place to feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

What our clients have to say about working with us:

  • I’ve known Eliana Kohanzad, LMFT for about 10 years now. She’s been an instructor of Pepperdine’s Clinical Masters practicum classes, teaching and guiding our Psychology degree Master’s level students seeking licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists. She has been one of my favorite instructors as I assist her students with their state-required practicum sites and licensure documentation. Professor Kohanzad has a wonderful gentle and understanding approach to teaching students in her clinical classes. She has often handled difficult student scenarios beautifully. I’m SO thankful for her partnership in guiding our Pepperdine students in their sometimes difficult clinical situations.
