Shulamis Kener's style
🎯 Direct 💙 Warm 💠Open minded 🌎 HolisticWhy Shulamis Kener chose to be in the helping profession
I’ve always been deeply curious about the journey to self-integration and what it means to truly come home to ourselves. I see life as a process of walking each other and every part of ourselves home, where all aspects of who we are are inherently good and long to be met with compassion and presence. My intention is to be a clear mirror for others, reflecting back what is already within them as they navigate their own growth and self-discovery. I approach this work with a sense of reverence for the complexity of human experience and the courage it takes to face it.
At the same time, I help people translate insight into practice by building tools to regulate and meet themselves in the everyday, often messy moments of life. It’s not just about understanding our inner world, but learning how to live with it fully, even in the mundane or raw moments that can feel overwhelming. I aim to provide guidance and support that is both grounding and practical, helping each person develop a relationship with themselves that is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and trust. Ultimately, this work is about helping people return home to themselves, moment by moment, and feel seen, held, and capable along the way.
Shulamis Kener's approach
My role is to offer a space where your healing process can unfold naturally and freely, guided by presence, attunement, and practices that support meaningful forward movement. I approach therapy from a whole-person perspective, honoring the ways mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected and influence one another. I see each person as a complete system, and my work is grounded in helping you engage with all aspects of yourself with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Together, our work may include parts work and inner child exploration, somatic and embodiment practices, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection. We might also explore lifestyle and nutrition, along with mindset approaches that help shift long-standing patterns of thought and behavior. My goal is to provide tools and insights that are practical, actionable, and deeply transformative, supporting you not just in understanding yourself but in living with more ease, presence, and authenticity.

Shulamis Kener's experience working with the Jewish community
My experience working within the Jewish community has been not only deeply rewarding but also profoundly meaningful. I see it as an opportunity to honor and support the innate strengths and resilience within our community, while creating space for openness, safety, and honest dialogue about the parts of ourselves and our collective life that are ready for healing. This work is about holding both pride in our traditions and curiosity for growth, helping individuals navigate the balance between heritage, identity, and personal well-being.
I believe that each Jew is a world unto themselves, carrying unique gifts, challenges, and potential for transformation. When we take full accountability for ourselves—our actions, our healing, and our capacity for change—we ripple that impact outward, strengthening not only our own lives but the community as a whole. My goal is to support individuals in stepping fully into their personal power, while nurturing the collective resilience, compassion, and authenticity that make our community thrive.
