Leah Rabovsky, LCSW's style
💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 💭 Open minded 🤝 CollaborativeWhy Leah Rabovsky, LCSW chose to be in the helping profession
I became a therapist because I’ve always been deeply curious about people: the humanity we all share, our struggles, our resilience, and the stories that shape us. My work is relational and trauma-informed, grounded in safety, honesty and genuine human connection. I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to walk alongside you as you begin to feel freer, more grounded, and more at home in yourself. I believe healing happens when pain is met with compassion instead of criticism. In therapy, you deserve a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. A space without pressure to perform or have it all figured out. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface and how past experiences may be shaping your present life, relationships, and emotional world.
Leah Rabovsky, LCSW's approach
My approach is flexible and personalized towards each individual. I offer a collaborative and open-minded approach where we would discuss together which approaches can be most helpful to you. I draw from psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy to understand relational patterns, and I integrate Trauma-Focused CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), and somatic approaches. Many clients find parts work especially powerful in creating deep, lasting change.
What you can expect from sessions with Leah Rabovsky, LCSW
As a relational therapist who prioritizes the therapeutic relationship, you can expect a space of warmth and connection. You don’t have to edit yourself here. I believe healing happens when we stop performing and start to show the messy, human sides of ourselves. Together we will explore your past, present, and future and what’s happening beneath the surface. You can anticipate a compassionate environment so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Leah Rabovsky, LCSW's experience working with the Jewish community
As an Orthodox Jew, I understand the unique cultural and emotional challenges within the Jewish community. I also recognize that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. This can especially occur when stigma or fear of judgment are part of the story. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in Frum schools and camps, gaining firsthand insight into the struggles and resilience in the Jewish community.
Whether you identify as Chassidish, Yeshivish, Modern Orthodox, Sephardic, secular, or unaffiliated, I offer a culturally sensitive and warm space to explore your mental health and spiritual journey.
If anxiety, trauma, or grief are showing up for you or if you’re watching your teen struggle and don’t know where to turn, you’re not alone.
I offer virtual therapy throughout New York and in-person sessions in the Five Towns. I also provide a free 20-minute consultation so we can connect and see if working together feels like a good fit. It would be an honor to walk alongside you in this process
