Why I chose to be in the helping profession

Jewish therapist in Jerusalem

The nature and process of life is that we experience joy, pain, love, discomfort, and loneliness; among a wide array of emotion. We are created with the ability to feel and experience this extensive and expansive range of emotion and to develop resiliency through it. However, at times we feel stuck. At these times therapy can be a great tool.

My goal as a therapist is to partner with you in relieving the symptoms that brought you into therapy while developing a strong foundation of self-awareness. Through exploration, insight, and interventions I can help you master the skills you need to free yourself and move ahead on your personal journey.
I have trained in Somatic Experiencing and EMDR for trauma intervention, making this one of my specialties. I believe that therapy accomplishes its goals both by expanding one’s self-awareness and by healing the symptoms that brings you, the client, into therapy. I join my clients on a journey of their inner world in order to empower your success by bridging the longer term psychodynamic therapy with short term interventions.

Through the work that we will do together, you will gain skills, improve communication, trust and resiliency so that you and the people you love can enjoy the quality of life you envision for yourself. Your unique journey is a personal, deeply emotional experience and it would be my honor to join you in your process of healing.
