Why Chaya Satt chose to be in the helping profession

The inspiration to help others in an authentic and caring manner is something I connected to from a young age. I have found that actualizing that inspiration as a therapist has been the most rewarding use of my time. I also have a great appreciation for the complex and detailed world of the human psyche. I believe the more we can understand ourselves, and professionally help others understand themselves, the closer we come to healing and living healthy, wholesome lives.

Chaya Satt's approach

My approach to therapy is, first and foremost, through human connection. There are certainly some modalities that incorporate this as part of the process ,such as EMDR, SE, and Psychodynamic Exploration, but I would refer to those as tools. The therapy itself is through the connection, care, and honest rapport that we build together.

What you can expect from sessions with Chaya Satt

In our sessions, you can expect honesty and reflection. I offer an authentic relationship and hope that you are able to join me in that way.

Chaya Satt's experience working with the Jewish community

I enjoy helping anyone and I believe that the human condition does not discriminate by race or ethnicity. That being said, as an Orthodox Jew it is rewarding to be able to help other Jewish people.
