Bassy Schwartz, LMFT's style
đ Warm đ Humorous đ„ Empowering đ€ CollaborativeWhy Bassy Schwartz, LMFT chose to be in the helping profession
Many of the couples I work with are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who have tried to âfigure it outâ on their own, but find themselves repeating the same dynamics. Together, we gently uncover the patterns that are getting in the way of connection. From there we create a space where both partners feel understood, and begin to rebuild communication, trust, and emotional closeness.
When your relationship starts to feel strained, it can be painful and confusing. You might miss the closeness you once had, feel unheard in conversations, or find yourselves stuck in patterns that leave both of you feeling disconnected.
You may notice:
Conversations turning into frustration or silence
A growing emotional distance between you
A sense that something isnât working, but not knowing how to fix it
Bassy Schwartz, LMFT's approach
Our work is focused on helping you reconnectânot just manage conflict, but truly feel like a team again. We identify and shift the deeper relational patterns driving conflict, disconnection, and emotional distance. Rather than staying at the surface, we work at the level where meaningful and lasting change happens. The goal is not just to improve communication, but to fundamentally change how you relate to each other.
If youâre looking for a supportive place to work through whatâs happening in your relationship, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.

Bassy Schwartz, LMFT's experience working with the Jewish community
My experience within the Jewish community has been deeply rewarding, encompassing various facets of community involvement. I have actively participated in initiatives related to infertility, including raising awareness, developing programming, and collaborating with the PUAH Cares Team for case management. Additionally, I've been engaged in advocating for Agunot, promoting awareness, creating programming, and offering professional support through organizations like ORA. Beyond these specific areas, I've taken an active role in serving on synagogue boards.
Our vibrant Jewish community possesses remarkable qualities, yet it also presents opportunities for growth in handling common challenges. I find great fulfillment in contributing to our community by creating spaces for critical analysis, expansion of dialogue and services, and transformation of approaches to better address these issues. It is my hope that by working together, we can enhance the support and resources available to our community members and foster positive change within our close-knit Jewish community.
