Why Yonina Kaufman chose to be in the helping profession

As a therapist, my role is to hold a space for you. A space to be human without judgement or shame. I am not here to fix you.

I specialize in helping women and couples who experience(d) perinatal and infant loss, infertility, perinatal or postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. I am trained in maternal mental health, grief and bereavement, and trauma. While using evidenced based approaches, I am there to help clients untangle their thoughts and feelings, while they go through their grieving, mourning, and/or parenting journey.

As the Clinical Coordinator for ATIME HUG, I am fortunate to support women and couples experiencing perinatal and infant loss.

In my private practice I continue to do more of the same. Additionally, I provide clinical supervision for therapists and social work interns, as well as conduct parenting classes for parents with children of all ages and stages.

My experience working with the Jewish community

I am the Clinical Coordinator for ATIME HUG which supports women / couples who have experienced perinatal and infant loss. I have given lectures, facilitate support groups and met with community leaders and members on how to best support our community when navigating this difficult journey.
