Miriam Schiller, LCSW's style
💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 🤝 CollaborativeWhy Miriam Schiller, LCSW chose to be in the helping profession
I have always felt drawn to helping others. In high school, I volunteered with young children, supporting them in their homes and learning from each interaction. During the summers, I worked at a camp for unaffiliated Jewish children, an experience that left me deeply humbled. I was fortunate to support these children through a variety of resources while maintaining close, meaningful connections.
Mental health has long fascinated me, and I am committed to staying informed about the latest research and approaches through ongoing trainings and learning opportunities. I believe that learning is not only essential for personal growth but can also enrich the lives of those we serve. Knowledge has the power to transform, and I am passionate about sharing insights that guide others along their own paths of self-discovery.
I am continually humbled by the human capacity for resilience. I wanted to do work that matters—work that sits at the intersection of pain and hope. Being a therapist allows me to witness transformation firsthand, and I feel honored to accompany people on their journeys toward healing and growth.
