Ember Health Williamsburg's style
💙 Warm 🌎 Holistic 🧘 Calm 🤝 CollaborativeAbout Ember Health Williamsburg
At Ember Health, we provide safe and effective IV ketamine care for people seeking real relief from depression. Many of the patients we work with are managing depression while striving to live fully, yet often feel discouraged by the limits of their current treatment plans. We understand how disheartening that can be, and our goal is to offer a new path toward healing that restores hope and possibility.
We are proud of the difference our care has made in the lives of the remarkable people we serve. In fact, 84% of our patients report relief from depressive symptoms within days of beginning treatment. Our team is committed to setting the gold standard in the field by combining evidence-based care with a deeply patient-centered approach. We also view ourselves as partners in each patient’s journey, ensuring that every step of care is guided by compassion, expertise, and a genuine commitment to lasting wellness.
Programs and services offered at Ember Health Williamsburg
Ember Health provides IV ketamine treatment for depression, supporting patients living with Major Depressive Disorder as well as the depressive state of Bipolar Disorder. Every new client begins with an in-office orientation visit with one of our physicians, followed by a foundational series of four infusion treatments over a two-week period. This initial period allows us, together with your primary mental health providers, to assess whether IV ketamine is an appropriate ongoing option for your care based on both your goals and clinical outcomes.
Since ketamine is not a cure, many patients continue treatment through maintenance or booster infusions when symptoms return. While the timing varies for each individual, most of our patients return approximately every six weeks for a single infusion as part of their comprehensive care plan. To ensure safe and effective treatment, we provide ongoing collaboration with each patient’s mental health team at no additional cost, keeping your care coordinated and centered on your long-term well-being.
Jewish Community Experience
At Ember Health, we understand the unique needs of the Jewish community when it comes to mental health care, and we take great care to ensure that our approach respects and aligns with Jewish traditions and practices. Cultural sensitivity is a core value for our team, and we are proud to provide care that honors the beliefs and backgrounds of every individual we serve. Over the years, we have supported patients from all walks of life—adolescents and parents, artists and CEOs, and people of all faiths across the Jewish diaspora—each with their own story and journey toward healing.
Our clinic has been consistently recognized by both patients and the mental health clinicians we collaborate with as a safe, respectful, and evidence-based environment. Many also describe it as a beautiful and welcoming space that fosters comfort and trust. In particular, our Williamsburg office has developed extensive experience in serving members of the Orthodox and Chasidic communities in Brooklyn, providing care that is both clinically rigorous and deeply attuned to cultural needs.

Each treatment is $550 and our one-time orientation visit is $275. We do not charge for intake, care coordination, or any additional services outside of the office visit fees.
We are not aware of any insurance plans that cover ketamine treatments in-network. That said, most people with out-of-network benefits under their health insurance plans are eligible to receive reimbursement for their care with us. 75% of our patients receive out-of-network reimbursement for our care. For those patients, they receive 70% reimbursement (on average) for their care; this amounts to an average out-of-pocket cost of $165 per treatment.
We also offer an income-based sliding scale program for patients who do not receive out-of-network insurance benefits.
We accept credit cards and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA plans.
What our clients have to say about working with us:
-
“The team at Ember Health is exceptional. They are knowledgeable, kind, and fun. They respect my expertise, and are highly collegial. The treatments have been life changing for my patients. They’ve helped me offer something that I just couldn’t do on my own. And they’re the best at it, hands down.”
Kari Groff, MD

“Our team at Union Square Practice has loved working with Ember, and see them as an extension of our team and services. We offer just about everything to help manage mental health, but have never wanted to delve into the world of IV ketamine administration. It just makes too much sense to partner with someone else who is committed to being the best at it. And they are.”

"Prior, I had a very hard time getting out of bed and completing basic tasks. Since starting infusions, I've travelled, interviewed for and started a new job, and gained back the weight I lost while I was really depressed."
