clients develop a better understanding of themselves, of their goals, of their inner parts, and work through the feelings and barriers which enables them to access clarity, hope and to achieve acceptance and change.

Clients work with Ari healing from trauma, unloading childhood burdens, rediscovering themSelf, adapting, changing and growing. He uses specialized evidenced-based ways to do this in therapy. Ari also integrates using strategies, practice skills, problem solving, troubleshooting, and brainstorming. Sometimes a client needs coaching and a directive approach.

Ari specializes in couples therapy for dating and newly married couple. He has worked extensively with blended families, as well as couples that have been married for decades. He helps couples de-escalate; identify the critical elements contributing to the discord and conflict; develop fuller and more accepting perspectives; repair broken, strained or wounded bonds; develop healthier ways of communicating; and identify effective ways to reinforce the positive things in the relationship.

Ari also runs Men's Groups. He uses group psychotherapy to facilitate client's resolution of personal and interpersonal issues, while enabling them to benefit from the supportive nature that groups offer. Group members have reported profound benefits from groups therapy.

Throughout his professional career, Ari has enjoyed the privilege of working with the Jewish community in a variety of settings, including clinical, inpatient, and many Yeshivos and educational contexts. Ari has had the opportunity to work with clients from a wide range of affiliations, from those who identify as secular or modern, to those who are deeply religious, yeshivish and chassidish. Ari currently has a private practice in Queens, NY and he is a supervisor therapist at Sefardi Bikur Holim (SBH) in Brooklyn, NY.

Ari understands the challenges and opportunities that can arise when navigating issues related to Jewish identity, family dynamics, and community relationships. His clients explore these issues in a safe and supportive space, as he is empowering them to make meaningful progress towards their personal goals and aspirations.
