Why Yisroel Glick chose to be in the helping profession

True, deeply trauma-informed support has the power to entirely transform lives, especially for those who are suffering the most. The moment I truly understood this, it became my mission to do whatever I could to make this kind of healing more available and accessible within our community. Witnessing the profound shifts that become possible when people receive the right support has only strengthened that commitment over time. It is work that continues to inspire me every day.

Life is filled with challenges by design, and that is part of the human experience. At the same time, much of the suffering we experience collectively is not necessarily inherent to life itself. When we begin to understand the depths of complex trauma and chronic nervous system dysregulation, it becomes clear how deeply these struggles can affect every aspect of a person's life, relationships, sense of self, and ability to thrive.

What also becomes clear is that much of this suffering can be alleviated. With the right support, healing is possible. Patterns that once seemed permanent can begin to shift, and lives defined by dysfunction, disconnection, and pain can be transformed into lives marked by joy, connection, meaning, and pleasure.

This healing is what I live for. To witness people reconnect with themselves, reclaim their lives, and experience greater freedom is, to me, one of the most sacred and beautiful things imaginable.

Yisroel Glick's approach

I approach healing through the lenses of Somatics and Trauma-Informed care. The work is built on the pillars of safety, co-regulation, and deep, true, secure attachment. These are not simply concepts to me. They are the foundation of meaningful healing and transformation.

I am not looking to fix anyone, nor could I if I wanted to. I believe that each person's body already holds an innate capacity for healing. My role is to help create the conditions that allow that process to unfold by offering a deep somatic sense of safety, support, and connection. When the nervous system begins to feel safe enough, the body can start doing what it has always been designed to do: move toward healing.

The foundation of my day's work begins with my own personal somatic practice. I prioritize showing up with a deeply regulated nervous system because I believe that healing happens in relationship. My intention is for my nervous system to become a safe and steady presence, one that allows your body to feel supported enough to soften, settle, and begin healing itself.

From there, I show up in each session to offer profound co-regulation and support. Together, we can tend to what has been hurt, rebuild what was broken, and restore a deeper sense of personal agency, choice, and power. Your body has everything it needs to heal. It would be my honor to support your nervous system in finding the safety, permission, and invitation it has been waiting for, so you can not only heal, but truly thrive.

What you can expect from sessions with Yisroel Glick

This one already has a strong voice and a clear philosophy. I focused on tightening the language, improving the flow, correcting grammar, and expanding a few ideas without losing the practitioner's distinctive style.

If one of my clients were to walk into another client's session, they would likely be surprised by how different it looks from what they are used to. While every session is grounded in the same principles, no two sessions are exactly alike.

Every session is an organic response to the needs of the individual nervous system in front of me. I approach each session in exactly the same way: holding space for a safe experience where the body can do what it is designed to do and begin healing itself. What that translates to in practice depends entirely on the state, capacity, and needs of the client's nervous system that day. The outward appearance of the work may vary dramatically from session to session, but at its core, we are always doing the same thing: creating the conditions for healing to emerge naturally.

What does this actually look like in practice?

Sometimes it looks like sitting comfortably and talking. It can be an experience of feeling deeply safe, deeply seen, and finally able to let go in ways you may never have been able to before. Sometimes it looks like somatic exercises, vagus nerve stimulation practices, inner child work, or parts work, all approached through the wisdom and language of the body rather than through analysis alone.

At other times, it may look like learning how the nervous system works and gaining a deeper understanding of the healing process, empowering you with practical tools and insights that support lasting change. And sometimes, if that is what your body needs most, it may look like lying down comfortably and breathing gently for an entire session.

No matter what form the work takes, the intention remains the same. It is always about creating an experience of safety, connection, and support. It is always about helping you feel deeply seen, deeply safe, and empowered to heal.

*In-person sessions may also be supported with aromatherapy to further support feelings of safety, presence, regulation, and healing.

Yisroel Glick's experience working with the Jewish community

My primary passion is working with frum men because I believe many frum men have limited options when it comes to healing support that feels comfortable, relatable, and aligned with their values. Too often, men carry tremendous burdens without having a space where they feel safe enough to be fully seen, supported, and understood. It is deeply important to me that the members of our community have access to the kind of support they need, and that healing feels accessible rather than out of reach. Creating that space and helping make healing more available is a meaningful part of why I do this work.

At the same time, I work with both men and women and deeply appreciate the opportunity to support any individual on their healing journey. Every person's path is unique, and it is an honor to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves, restore a sense of safety and agency, and move toward greater freedom and well-being. My commitment is to provide a supportive, trauma-informed space where healing can unfold naturally and at the pace that feels right for each individual.

*The door remains open during all in-person sessions with female clients.

  • Today was SO helpful. I am still processing everything. Wow! I can't believe you are a coach. I always hear people talking about coaches being less than therapists. What I got today from you in one session was so much more than I ever got in two and a half years of therapy.

    — Frum male client [mid 40s]
  • I just want to say, you made everything so clear, you opened up a new world for me. It is also going to help me so much working with my own clients.

    — Frum male trauma healing professional [late 30s]
  • Yisroel, I want to thank you for today's session. I feel that you have uncovered a whole new dimension for my healing journey. This is priceless. Thank you.

    — Frum male client after our first session together [mid 30s]
  • I've been working on the things you suggested. I had a conversation with my wife last night and it was the most connected we have ever felt in nearly thirty years of marriage. Thank you!!

    — Frum male client [late 40s]
  • I have had very powerful releases and experiences with my therapist, but I often feel pressured and they can be hard on me. Here, in this space, I am going super deep, but at a pace that feels very safe, and it feels just right.
