As a dedicated therapist specializing in maternal mental health, I am deeply passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating the complex emotional challenges that can arise during fertility treatments, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. I understand that this season of life can bring a wide range of emotions, from hope and excitement to uncertainty, grief, and overwhelm. My approach is grounded in creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, no matter where you are in your journey. You do not have to go through this alone.
My goal is to offer a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings openly, make sense of your experiences, and begin to build resilience at your own pace. Together, we will work to strengthen your coping tools, reconnect you with your inner strength, and support your overall mental well-being. I believe in walking alongside you through these significant life transitions with care, empathy, and respect for your unique story. Through our work, my hope is that you not only feel supported, but also empowered to move forward with greater clarity and a renewed sense of balance in your life.
Danielle Mizrahi, LCSW, PMH-C's approach
I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where women can process the many layers of this experience, including grief, anxiety, identity shifts, and the often invisible pressures that can accompany these transitions. I understand how heavy and complex this season can feel, especially when so much of it goes unspoken or misunderstood. My intention is to offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you are carrying without fear of judgment. You deserve to feel supported as you move through it.
Drawing on my specialization in perinatal mental health, I integrate evidence-based practices with a deeply relational approach that centers your unique story and needs. I believe in meeting you where you are, helping you feel seen, validated, and supported every step of the way. Together, we will work to strengthen your sense of self, build resilience, and create space for both healing and growth. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more empowered as you navigate one of the most profound seasons of your life.
What you can expect from sessions with Danielle Mizrahi, LCSW, PMH-C
I offer personalized care that is thoughtfully tailored to the individual needs of each client I work with. I recognize that every person’s experience is unique, and I take the time to truly understand your story, your challenges, and what matters most to you. I also place a strong emphasis on creating a warm, welcoming environment where you feel at ease from the very beginning. It is important to me that you feel safe, respected, and comfortable showing up as you are. I aim to foster a space where openness comes naturally and where you feel supported in sharing your thoughts and emotions. From the moment we begin working together, my goal is for you to feel both cared for and understood.
Danielle Mizrahi, LCSW, PMH-C's experience working with the Jewish community
My experience working within the Jewish community has deeply shaped the way I show up in my work. As an ATIME Support Group Leader, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples through the emotional complexities of fertility journeys, holding space for both the spoken and unspoken parts of their experience. This role has strengthened my understanding of the unique cultural, emotional, and communal dynamics that can influence this process. It has also reinforced my commitment to offering care that is both sensitive and attuned to these nuances.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a board member of I Was Supposed to Have a Baby, where I remain closely connected to the ongoing needs of this community. Being an active member of the West Hempstead Jewish community allows me to stay grounded in and connected to the people I support, both professionally and personally. These experiences continue to inform my approach, helping me provide care that feels relevant, respectful, and aligned with the values and realities of those I work with.
