Hello! I'm Anna- a Registered Psychotherapist, Maternal Health Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor. I chose the helping profession because I am an empath by nature, I had a lot of trauma and healing experience in my own life and I felt I had a lot to offer others.
Everyone deserves to be empowered and to be living their best life. You deserve to experience true emotional and physical intimacy, along with authentic and meaningful relationships. You deserve to find fulfillment in your life goals and satisfaction from your career and day-to-day routine. With the right approach and support, you can get there!
Anna Sherman's approach
I help clients to heal and overcome trauma, work through fears and emotional blocks in their lives and relationships, and empower them to help them help themselves! By utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities, I am able to help clients overcome their obstacles through our collaborative work. I believe in the mind-body connection and I am passionate about self-help and wellness, taking a holistic approach with my clients so they can build resilience in all areas of their lives.
What you can expect from sessions with Anna Sherman
Sessions with me are usually about looking at how you grew up in your family of origin, your core beliefs and how they are affecting your life as an adult. I believe that the only way to find true fulfillment in your life is to live authentically, meaning being true to yourself and to others about who you are, what triggers you, what excites you, what your dreams are, and engaging in relationships with honesty and integrity. In addition to my private practice, I lead postpartum support groups for new moms and their babies in a format that I specifically created to help new mothers gain support from one another and from their own local communities.
