Why Sara Kahan-Newman chose to be in the helping profession
My goal is to provide clients a safe and supportive environment, where they can clarify and process their thoughts and feelings. I encourage clients to conceptualize and acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses and use them to gain perspective on their lives and the choices they make.
Sara Kahan-Newman's approach
My training in both Mental Health Counseling and School Psychology have helped give me a unique insight into clients cognitive abilities, as well as their different coping styles when faced with a challenge in their lives.
