Rachel Steinhardt, LMHC's style
🎯 Direct 💙 Warm 😃 Humorous 🙏 SpiritualWhy Rachel Steinhardt, LMHC chose to be in the helping profession
I have always had a passion for making meaning from painful and difficult experiences and obstacles, whether it be other's or my own. Growing up, I realized that life has many paths we can take and that our life is what we make of the hand we have been dealt. I knew I wanted to empower people to live their life to the fullest and take control of their happiness with whatever struggles they may carry. I had a great way of connecting with people and making them feel heard and cared for. Therapy was the perfect fit for me. Since I was young, I would sit and listen and support others as they felt comfortable sharing personal things with me and I always felt privileged to be able to offer love, support and guidance in a nonjudgmental way. Seeing the work that I have done with others creating healing, positivity and meaningful change...it's not a job, it's a life mission. I want to help you help yourself and find the serenity in your life that you deserve.
Rachel Steinhardt, LMHC's approach
I truly believe in a not one size fits all approach to therapy. I believe each person has a unique experience with individualized needs and I do my best to customize my care and tailor it to the client in front of me. That being said, I utilize CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic therapy and Psychoeducation alongside other tools and techniques I derive from other theories when deemed appropriate.
What you can expect from sessions with Rachel Steinhardt, LMHC
You will feel safe, supported and know that I genuinely care and want to help you. With that said, I like to be direct, to the point and always leave you with something tangible to work on. We will laugh together, cry together and I will be your biggest cheerleader through it all. It won't be easy but it will be worth it.

What people have to say about working with me:
-
"Rachel has literally saved my life, in more ways than I can count. She went through all the motions with me and really created the space for me to safely and unapologetically find my way. Starting my therapeutic journey with her was one of the best decisions I ever made. She helped me get my life back and I am forever grateful."
