Why Jamie Frankenberg chose to be in the helping profession

I find it incredibly fulfilling to connect with individuals and guide them toward rediscovering their true selves and vitality. It is an honor to be able to facilitate this process and witness the positive impact it can have on their lives.

My ultimate goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where people feel less alone, empowered to deepen their connection with themselves, and motivated to improve their overall quality of life. Through my work, I hope to foster a sense of community and support, where individuals feel seen, heard, and understood.

Being a therapist is not just a career choice, but a calling. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with, and I am constantly inspired by their courage, resilience, and growth.

Jamie Frankenberg's approach

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that every individual is unique and deserves an individualized approach to treatment. As such, I offer a blend of insight-oriented and somatic, experiential psychotherapy tailored to your specific needs and goals.

In order to achieve this, I approach therapy collaboratively, drawing on multiple modalities and techniques to create a personalized treatment plan. My approach is informed by various theories and techniques, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Core Self Reclamation Therapy (CSRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based therapy.

By utilizing a diverse range of approaches, I can work with you in a way best suited to your unique circumstances and preferences. Whether you are looking to gain insight into your past experiences, learn new coping skills, or simply enhance your overall well-being, I am here to support and guide you on your journey toward greater self-awareness and personal growth.

My ultimate goal is to help you achieve a greater sense of self-compassion, resilience, and fulfillment, and I am committed to working with you to create a therapeutic experience that is both transformative and empowering.

What you can expect from sessions with Jamie Frankenberg

During our sessions together, you can expect a supportive and compassionate space where we can work together to help you reconnect with your core self and inner strength. With a gentle, collaborative, and integrative approach, my goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of your emotions, desires, and needs in order to alleviate suffering and live a more fulfilling life.

My focus is on helping you cultivate greater confidence, self-acceptance, and self-compassion, while also guiding you toward the healing and growth you are seeking. Through our work together, you will learn new tools and techniques to process difficult emotions, past experiences, and relational/attachment trauma. I often encourage slowing down and taking the time to notice what is present and alive inside of you, guiding you through visualization and inner child/parts work exercises to help heal and integrate any wounded parts of yourself, and ultimately feel more whole.

My ultimate goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped with the skills necessary to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and resilience. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply seeking to deepen your self-awareness and personal growth, I am here to support and guide you on your journey. You can expect a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic experience that is tailored to your unique needs and goals, and designed to help you flourish both in the present moment and beyond.
