Why Isaac Ansell-Forsyth chose to be in the helping profession

I've always been drawn to work that helps people make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in coaching, sleep counselling, education, and pastoral care, and these experiences have shown me how deeply connected our wellbeing, relationships, and sleep truly are. I believe that when we take the time to understand what is getting in the way of our goals, we can begin to create practical and sustainable steps toward positive change. I enjoy working collaboratively with people, meeting them where they are, and supporting them as they navigate challenges and transitions.

It is a privilege to walk alongside people during periods of change and to witness them develop greater confidence, resilience, and clarity. My approach is thoughtful, supportive, and focused on helping individuals discover strategies that fit their unique needs and circumstances. Together, we can explore the challenges that may be holding them back and identify evidence-informed approaches that encourage growth and lasting progress. My aim is to create a safe and encouraging environment where people feel understood, empowered, and supported in making meaningful changes in their lives.

Isaac Ansell-Forsyth's approach

I believe that every person is unique, and coaching is most effective when it is tailored to the individual rather than following a rigid formula. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, combining careful listening with evidence-informed strategies and psychoeducation to support meaningful change. I take the time to understand each person’s experiences, goals, and challenges so that we can develop an approach that feels realistic and sustainable. Together, we explore the patterns that may be affecting wellbeing and identify practical steps that can support growth and progress.

Depending on your goals, we may explore behavioural approaches to sleep, wellbeing, habits, resilience, and personal growth. I value helping people understand not only what they can do differently, but also why certain patterns develop in the first place. By building this awareness, clients can gain greater confidence in making changes that feel purposeful and lasting. My aim is to help people develop skills, insight, and tools that continue to support them long after our coaching has finished.

What you can expect from sessions with Isaac Ansell-Forsyth

Our first sessions focus on understanding your goals, your current challenges, and the factors that may be preventing you from moving forward. I believe it is important to take the time to understand your unique circumstances and priorities so that we can create a clear, practical plan that feels relevant and achievable for you. Together, we’ll explore what is working, what may be getting in the way, and what steps can help you move toward meaningful and sustainable change. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take action.

I aim to offer a balance of support, thoughtful reflection, and practical strategies rather than simply giving advice. Many people appreciate having a dedicated space to slow down, think things through, gain clarity, and build a stronger understanding of themselves and their goals. Coaching is a collaborative process, and we’ll regularly review your progress together, making adjustments along the way as needed. My hope is that you leave each session with greater insight, confidence, and practical tools to continue moving forward.

Isaac Ansell-Forsyth's experience working with the Jewish community

I have spent many years working within the Jewish community in educational, pastoral, and coaching settings, and these experiences have shaped the way I support people today. As an ordained rabbi, I have a deep understanding of the cultural, religious, and practical aspects of Jewish life, while also recognising that every person’s relationship with Judaism is personal and unique. I work with individuals from a wide range of Jewish backgrounds, from highly observant to secular, and I value the opportunity to meet each person with openness, respect, and curiosity. My goal is to create a thoughtful and non-judgemental environment where people feel comfortable exploring their experiences, challenges, and goals.

My work is grounded in professional ethics and evidence-informed practice, while remaining sensitive to each person’s values, beliefs, and individual journey. I believe that meaningful support begins with understanding the whole person, including the experiences, traditions, and perspectives that shape who they are. Whether someone is seeking guidance during a period of change, personal growth, or simply a deeper understanding of themselves, I strive to offer a space that is compassionate, respectful, and supportive. Together, we can explore the challenges and opportunities ahead while staying true to what matters most to each individual.
