Why Dino Aronova, LMFT chose to be in the helping profession

I chose to enter the helping profession because I have always been deeply drawn to understanding people on a more meaningful level and supporting them through difficult moments in life. From an early age, I found myself naturally listening, wanting to understand what others were carrying beneath the surface and what they needed in order to feel seen, supported, and understood. Over time, I came to recognize just how powerful it can be to have a safe, nonjudgmental space where someone can speak openly and truly feel heard without fear of criticism or shame. That realization stayed with me and ultimately inspired me to pursue a career where I could offer that same kind of space to others in a thoughtful and intentional way.

I believe that everyone deserves support, especially during times of stress, loss, uncertainty, or personal transition. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and no one should have to navigate those moments alone. I approach each person and each story with empathy, respect, and genuine care, understanding that healing looks different for everyone and often takes time. Being part of someone’s healing process is something I take seriously, and I feel grateful for the trust people place in me when they allow me to walk alongside them through some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

Dino Aronova, LMFT's approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely heard, so I place a strong emphasis on creating an environment where people can show up as themselves without fear of judgment. Building trust and connection is an important part of the process, and I strive to meet each client with empathy, openness, and respect for where they are in their journey. I understand that no two people experience challenges in the same way, which is why I approach therapy with flexibility and care rather than a one-size-fits-all mindset.

In my work, I often incorporate evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy while also making space to explore emotional patterns, relationships, past experiences, and the deeper factors that may be contributing to present struggles. I work collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting changes that feel realistic and achievable in their everyday lives. My goal is not only to help clients manage challenges in the moment, but also to help them feel more confident, more connected to themselves and others, and more equipped to navigate life with greater clarity and resilience. I see therapy as a process of growth and self-understanding, and I feel honored to support clients as they move toward healing and positive change.

What you can expect from sessions with Dino Aronova, LMFT

During our sessions, you can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to openly share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I understand that beginning therapy or opening up about personal challenges can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. My goal is to help you feel supported throughout the process while building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration. I want clients to feel that they do not have to navigate difficult emotions or life experiences alone.

Throughout our work together, I will collaborate with you to better understand your experiences and identify patterns that may be contributing to the challenges you are facing. Together, we will develop practical tools and coping strategies to help you manage difficult emotions, improve daily functioning, and navigate stressful situations with greater confidence and clarity. I also focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs. Every session is tailored to the individual, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you, allowing space for both growth and reflection along the way.

Dino Aronova, LMFT's experience working with the Jewish community

I have experience working within the Jewish community and understand the important role that cultural background, religious beliefs, and family values can play in the therapeutic process. In both my current work in a psychiatric private practice and another clinical setting, many of the individuals and families I work with are part of the Jewish community. Through these experiences, I have developed a deeper understanding of the unique dynamics, expectations, traditions, and pressures that can impact daily life, relationships, identity, and emotional well-being. I recognize that these experiences are deeply personal and can shape the way individuals navigate challenges, seek support, and view themselves within their families and communities.

I strive to provide a respectful, culturally sensitive, and supportive space where clients feel understood without needing to overexplain important parts of their background or values. Whether someone is navigating family dynamics, religious expectations, personal struggles, life transitions, or the balance between individual needs and community responsibilities, I approach each situation with awareness, empathy, and care. My goal is not to make assumptions, but to create space for open and thoughtful conversations that honor each person’s lived experience and perspective. I believe therapy can be most meaningful when clients feel fully seen in the context of who they are, the values they hold, and the communities they are part of.
