Why Brooke English chose to be in the helping profession
Feeling overwhelmed by your emotions and seeking support is a brave step. I chose the helping profession because I've witnessed how important it is for individuals to have a safe and non-judgmental space to explore and manage their feelings. Many people I've worked with have faced challenging and traumatic experiences, that have left them struggling to cope. My desire to help and support those who have been told that they're 'just being sensitive' led me into this profession.
Brooke English's approach
In my practice, I've accumulated over a decade of experience specializing in helping adults and adolescents who have encountered various forms of trauma. This includes individuals who grew up in abusive or emotionally neglectful households, those who experienced sexual violence, and those who found themselves in toxic relationships. Many of my clients are highly sensitive individuals dealing with relationship challenges or aiming to build healthier ones. I also work with clients who confront daily worries, sadness, existential questions, and spiritual concerns. My therapeutic style is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and grounded. I focus on cultivating a secure and authentic connection with my clients, providing them with a safe space to be their true selves.
