Raizel Gordon, MSW, RCSWI's style
💙 Warm 👂 Listener 🙌 Affirming 🥇 EmpoweringWhy Raizel Gordon, MSW, RCSWI chose to be in the helping profession
I have always enjoyed connecting with others. I am passionate about helping children and adolescents be their own cheerleaders, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in themselves as they navigate life's challenges, including anxiety and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they grow.
Raizel Gordon, MSW, RCSWI's approach
My approach is warm, client-centered, and grounded in acceptance and curiosity. I meet clients where they are and use creative modalities and conversation to support them in exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences while recognizing their strengths along the way.
What you can expect from sessions with Raizel Gordon, MSW, RCSWI
We begin with an intake session to learn more about your needs, understand your concerns, and discuss your goals for therapy. The intake session is an opportunity to get to know one another, explore what brings you to therapy, and talk about what you hope to gain from the process. Every client is unique, and I continue to get to know you throughout our work together.
Sessions are tailored to each client’s individual needs and may include play, art, conversation, and other creative modalities. Together, we will work toward the goals that are meaningful to you. My hope is that clients leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and more confident.
Raizel Gordon, MSW, RCSWI's experience working with the Jewish community
As a member of the Jewish community who has worked in Jewish schools and therapy settings, I understand that Judaism is diverse and that each person’s experiences, values, traditions, and level of observance are unique. I recognize that culture, family, faith, and community play an important role in a person’s life.
I strive to provide culturally sensitive care by meeting each client where they are while honoring what is meaningful to them. My goal is to support clients in a way that respects their individual experiences, values, and identities.
