💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 🎨 Creative 🤝 CollaborativeWhy Chana Lampner, LCSW, ATR-P chose to be in the helping profession
I chose to be in this profession because I have a deep passion for helping others and guiding them toward health, self-discovery, and personal growth. There is something incredibly meaningful about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, offering support and insight as they gain a deeper understanding of themselves. I have a natural sense of creativity and understanding that allows me to help people make connections between their past experiences and the thoughts and behaviors that shape their present.
I firmly believe that healing takes place within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship, where individuals feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Being able to offer that space is an honor, and I am deeply committed to fostering a safe and encouraging environment for growth. It brings me great joy to witness others gain clarity about their struggles, develop greater self-awareness, and ultimately move toward living their most fulfilling and authentic lives.
Chana Lampner, LCSW, ATR-P's approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Art Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and inner parts work. Each of these modalities helps individuals reach a place of healing and growth, fostering a deeper sense of peace within themselves and in their relationships. I am particularly passionate about Art Therapy, as it merges the creative process with therapeutic work, allowing for a unique and meaningful way to explore emotions, process experiences, and facilitate healing.
I place great emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that the process of therapy itself, along with the relational dynamics that unfold within the therapeutic space plays a crucial role in healing. My work is rooted in a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens, ensuring that clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate their personal journey toward self-discovery and emotional well-being.
