Why Beverly DAmico chose to be in the helping profession

To be honest, it chose me!
I was created to be a great listener and problem solver. Looking back over the years, I remember friends discussing their problems with me in grade school. Maybe due to personal hardships, I was molded to be empathetic. I ask questions until I understand the issues from the speakers' perspective.
I later went to college and became a nurse. Instead of following the field of other nurses, I followed the path of women's health. I found I was drawn to nurture, and it seemed women needed the most nurturing because we are taught to encourage others, but not much learning in self-love.
I noted my mother was overwhelmed with life's expectations, and I saw that same inundated look in many others.

As I furthered my nursing career, I joined the Air Force. As a staff nurse, I observed a pattern of unresolved grief in many of my arduous patients. Later they revealed their behavior was based on a history of childhood disappointments and unmet needs. Most noted the events occurred before 18 years of age. They learned at a young age to fight to have their needs met.

I also observed many diseases formulated in the area of the body where stress is contained. Such as the throat, shoulders, back, stomach, head. Many people who were not allowed to tell or talk about their stressors, trauma, abuse developed facets of throat cancers.

With all of these thgings being said, I accepted the gift to be in the helping profession. This is what I was designed to do. I was created with a scientific mind and a compassionate heart, which keeps me grateful for the opportunity to serve YOU!

Beverly DAmico's approach

I believe both parties (client and coach) should agree with the care plan. The initial free 15min assessment is an opportunity for both parties to evaluate if they are the perfect match. Not everyone assessed is chosen. I believe in honoring my client with the best interventions. If it is determined that the services I provide do not meet the client's needs, I will refer them to peers specializing in the client's desired goal. I also believe the client should have a say in the direction of their emotional healing. After each session, I ask for feedback. My clients must receive the best return from their investment of time and money.

What you can expect from sessions with Beverly DAmico

My services are provided as packages. 8wk, 12wk, and post package follow-up: if needed. I clarify to my clients I am not a psychotherapist I am a Life Coach From a life perspective, I provide tools that can be utilized years after coaching My goal is not to draw a person in for a lifetime My goal is to provide tools to assist in supporting the lifestyle one chooses to live fter one's thinking is unraveled from society's knot, they are more apt to follow their inner voice of truth.

Beverly DAmico's experience working with the Jewish community

I have been entrenched in the Jewish community for over four years through Chabad, Gwinnett. When speaking to women of the Jewish faith, I find their lives are closer to eternal truth than they may realize. Many are fighting "who" they are and who they think they are supposed or want to be. When given the freedom to choose, most choose who they are created to be, but with a new set of eyes and perspectives. It's never about changing. It's about unraveling confusion from society's expectations, pausing for clarity, and aligning with The Creator's inverted truth. I give no input. I only ask questions. ALL the answers are within, waiting to be asked to speak.
