💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 💠Open minded 🎨 CreativeWhy Yossi Winner, MFT chose to be in the helping profession
When life gets difficult and you're finding it hard to cope, reaching out for support is not only courageous but also crucial for your healing and well-being. Pain is an inevitable part of life, but you don’t have to face it on your own.
In today’s world, where social media often fosters shallow interactions, many of us crave deeper conversations and meaningful relationships. I believe that true personal growth begins with authentic connections. I am dedicated to forming deep, genuine relationships with my clients, recognizing and nurturing their inherent goodness and wholeness.
Yossi Winner, MFT's approach
My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring that the methods I use are backed by research and proven to be effective. I combine person-centered and attachment-based theories, which emphasize the importance of a supportive and empathetic therapeutic relationship and understanding the impact of early relationships on current behavior and emotions.
Additionally, I have advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps clients understand and heal their inner parts or subpersonalities, promoting self-leadership and harmony within. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a highly effective approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which combines CBT with mindfulness techniques to help clients manage emotions and improve interpersonal effectiveness. By integrating these diverse approaches, I can tailor my therapy to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering growth, healing, and well-being.

Yossi Winner, MFT's experience working with the Jewish community
For over 20 years, I have been deeply involved in Jewish outreach on college campuses and beyond. I established a Chabad house in Arizona, where I connected Jewish students to their heritage and provided guidance throughout their college years.
My support and involvement didn’t stop at graduation; I continued to assist these students as they transitioned into professional life. Additionally, I have offered couples counseling and family guidance to our alumni community, helping them navigate the challenges of starting new chapters in their lives.
