🎯 Direct 💙 Warm 💪 Challenging 👂 Listener 🥇 Empowering 🌎 Holistic 🙏 Spiritual 🧘 CalmWhy Dena Leibowitz, MS LCADC chose to be in the helping profession
The helping profession has always felt like a true calling for me – something deeply personal that I genuinely enjoy and feel grateful to do each day. I've had the good fortune of learning from brilliant teachers and working alongside compassionate, insightful colleagues. Over the years, I’ve had the honor and privilege of becoming a resource in thousands of people’s lives, which is a responsibility I hold with deep reverence. I approach each individual with profound respect for their unique layers and complexities, and I consider it a sacred process to gently witness and support their unfolding.
This work has also been a mirror for my own growth, both spiritually and psychodynamically. Because of this, I understand firsthand that healing is not a quick fix, but a meaningful commitment. I’m passionate about helping people shift from patterns of limited or “impoverished” thinking into a state of greater empowerment, ease, and self-compassion. To be a positive guide in someone’s journey is a true joy and privilege – one I never take for granted.

What you can expect from sessions with Dena Leibowitz, MS LCADC
Sessions are approximately 50 minutes long and are held in a private, confidential space where you can safely explore your inner world. These sessions are designed to offer deep insight and clarity, helping you create meaningful shifts in your outer world with greater ease. Therapy becomes more than talk – it transforms into a journey of self-study and soul-work. Common topics we explore include depression, anxiety, addiction, and relationship or marital challenges.
Depending on your unique needs, our work together may also support you in improving broader areas of wellness such as nutrition, fitness, weight, stress, anger, and overall life balance. I bring structure, expertise, and heartfelt inspiration to our work, but the transformation is yours. I will guide you in identifying and using your own strengths to create real, lasting change. This process is about empowering you to grow into the life you’re meant to live – with clarity, purpose, and confidence.
Dena Leibowitz, MS LCADC's experience working with the Jewish community
I believe it's essential for therapists to have a strong foundation in Torah in order to fully support the emotional and spiritual work we ask of our clients. My approach weaves together my western clinical training with my Torah education, allowing me to guide clients with both psychological insight and spiritual grounding. This integration brings depth, alignment, and meaning to the healing process, especially for those navigating their inner world through a Torah lens.
I feel deeply connected to the Jewish community and find great meaning in serving it. It’s a privilege to offer support in a way that honors both the emotional realities and the spiritual values that shape our lives. Whether we're addressing challenges or working toward growth, this blend of perspectives allows for a more holistic, grounded, and transformative experience.
