Why Carol Braha, CPC chose to be in the helping profession

I’ve always felt deeply drawn to helping people recognize their own worth, understand that they truly matter, and see the unlimited potential they already carry within them. I began my career as a middle school teacher, and while I genuinely loved being in the classroom, what fulfilled me most was supporting students emotionally. Helping them build confidence, believe in themselves, and discover what they were capable of was the part of the work that stayed with me long after the school day ended. Over time, it became clear that guiding personal growth was not just meaningful to me, it was the work I wanted to fully devote myself to, which ultimately led me to become a Certified Life Coach.

My own life journey played a powerful role in shaping this path. In my twenties, I felt lost, unfulfilled, and disconnected, questioning who I was and what I was meant to do with my life. Through intentional growth work and deep self-reflection, I reached a realization that shifted everything for me. There is no one else like me, and that alone makes me immensely valuable. I came to understand that my worth is not something I need to earn, prove, or perform for. It exists simply because I do.

In a world that constantly sends the message that we are not enough, I want people to know they are allowed to love themselves exactly as they are. Self-love does not mean giving up on growth or settling for less. It is the foundation that makes real, lasting, and meaningful change possible. When we start from a place of compassion and self-acceptance, growth becomes something we move toward with intention rather than pressure. My work is grounded in helping people reconnect with that truth and build lives that feel aligned, fulfilling, and genuinely their own.

Carol Braha, CPC's approach

My approach to coaching is warm, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I do not tell people what to do, and I am not interested in molding anyone into someone they are not. Instead, I help clients reconnect with who they truly are at their core and identify what genuinely brings them joy, meaning, and fulfillment. Much of our work focuses on quieting the outside voices and stripping away expectations placed on you by society, family, or past experiences, so you can hear, trust, and follow your own inner voice with greater clarity.

I believe growth happens through compassion, not self-criticism. Together, we work on building self-love, gently challenging limiting beliefs, and creating a life that feels aligned with your values and desires. I meet you exactly where you are and honor your unique pace, knowing that meaningful change cannot be rushed. My role is to support you in creating shifts that feel empowering, sustainable, and true to who you are, not forced or performative.

What you can expect from sessions with Carol Braha, CPC

In our sessions, you can expect to feel genuinely supported, seen, and cared for. I create a warm and safe space where you can speak openly, show up as yourself, and explore what is coming up for you without fear of judgment. My goal is to help you know yourself more deeply, love yourself more fully, and believe in yourself with greater confidence. At the heart of our work is empowering you to build and live a life that feels meaningful, aligned, and true to who you are.

I follow your lead in our work together, gently pushing when it feels supportive and always validating your experience. I ask thoughtful and intentional questions to help you gain clarity, especially if you feel unsure about what you want or where to begin. If you come in knowing exactly what you want to work on, we focus there. If you do not, we take the time to figure it out together. I am attentive, organized, and deeply invested in your growth, and I truly believe in your ability to create a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and your own.

Carol Braha, CPC's experience working with the Jewish community

I grew up in a Modern Orthodox community in Brooklyn, which gave me a deep and lived understanding of Jewish culture, values, and communal life. Before becoming a life coach, I taught in Yeshivahs in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, where much of my work focused on supporting students’ personal and emotional growth alongside their academic development. Those years shaped how I listen, how I support, and how I hold space for people as they navigate questions of identity, purpose, and self-worth.

While I am open to working with clients of all faiths, all of my current clients are Jewish, and I have extensive experience working within the unique challenges and opportunities of the Jewish community. I also work as a career coach for a Jewish organization called Propel, where I support women in gaining the tools, skills, and confidence to advance in their careers. I am passionate about empowering both men and women across many areas of life, whether personal, professional, or relational. At the core of my work is helping people build lives that feel authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with their values.
