💠Open minded 💙 Warm 💡 Solution-orientedWhy Avi Benmordechai chose to be in the helping profession
I became a therapist for a variety of reasons, one of the main reasons was to genuinely help people. I have a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and becoming a therapist was a way to do that. Growing up I have always found fulfillment in being able to provide support and guidance to people who are going through difficult times. Additionally, I also enjoy the intellectual challenge of working with people to help them better understand themselves and their challenges. Finally, I am personally interested in the field of psychology and mental health, and wanted to be able to work in a profession that allows me to explore those interests.
Avi Benmordechai's approach
My approach as a therapist when working with clients is to be empathetic, non-judgmental, and respectful of the client's autonomy and boundaries. I strive to be attentive and actively listen to the client's concerns, and provide a supportive and safe environment for the client to discuss their thoughts and feelings. When working with clients my goal is to be knowledgeable and skillful in the use of therapeutic techniques, and be able to adapt my approach to the individual needs of the client.
