Why Samantha Rajchel, LCSW/MSW, RSW chose to be in the helping profession

I chose to be in the helping profession because, from a young age, I’ve always been drawn to understanding people on a deeper level. I’ve always been curious about what people feel, why they feel it, and what’s really going on beneath the surface. That curiosity naturally grew into a desire to sit with others in a more intentional way and help make sense of experiences that can feel confusing or overwhelming. Over time, I began to notice how many women move through life carrying so much, often feeling disconnected or quietly wondering if something is wrong with them.

That awareness stayed with me, and it shaped the kind of work I felt called to do. I wanted to be someone who could help women slow down, understand themselves more clearly, and feel a sense of real connection again. Through my own growth and experiences, I came to see just how powerful it is to have a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and not judged. Having that kind of space can shift so much, especially for someone who has been holding things in for a long time.

This work gives me a deep sense of purpose because I get to support women as they reconnect with themselves in a way that feels honest and grounding. It’s not just about talking through challenges, but about creating change that actually feels meaningful and lasting in their day-to-day lives. I value being able to meet each person where they are, without pressure or expectation, and help them move at a pace that feels right for them. There’s something incredibly meaningful about witnessing someone begin to trust themselves again.

At the end of the day, I do this work because I genuinely care. I believe that no one is meant to navigate life feeling alone, stuck, or disconnected from who they are. Everyone deserves a space where they can be real, feel supported, and begin to understand themselves in a deeper way. Being part of that process is something I don’t take lightly, and it’s what continues to guide the work I do.

Samantha Rajchel, LCSW/MSW, RSW's approach

I bring curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for your story. I’m genuinely interested in understanding you, not just what you’ve been through, but how you’ve made sense of it and what it’s felt like to carry it. We move at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure, honoring your experiences, your needs, and your nervous system along the way. My role is to create a space where you can show up as you are and feel supported as we gently explore what’s coming up for you.

My practice is trauma-informed and grounded in the connection between mind and body. I draw on both talk therapy and experiential practices, depending on what feels most helpful and accessible for you in the moment. I often integrate an Internal Family Systems approach, along with self-compassion, mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices that support deeper awareness and healing. Everything we do is tailored to you, your needs, your goals, and your strengths, so the work feels personal, relevant, and meaningful.

What you can expect from sessions with Samantha Rajchel, LCSW/MSW, RSW

You can expect a space that feels safe, supportive, and non-judgmental, where you don’t have to filter yourself or have it all figured out before you walk in. You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are, even if things feel messy, confusing, or hard to put into words. We’ll go at your pace, slowing things down so you can begin to understand your thoughts, your emotions, and what your nervous system is trying to communicate. There’s no rush to get anywhere, just room to be present with what’s coming up and make sense of it together.

Together, we’ll gently explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, not to place blame, but to bring clarity and deeper self-understanding. Along the way, you’ll learn practical ways to feel more grounded, set boundaries, and navigate relationships without losing yourself in the process. We’ll focus on building awareness as well as giving you tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life. Over time, the goal is for you to feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your needs, and more able to respond to life with intention instead of overwhelm.

Samantha Rajchel, LCSW/MSW, RSW's experience working with the Jewish community

I’m Jewish myself, and while every person’s experience is unique, I understand many of the cultural, family, and identity dynamics that can come with that. I’m familiar with the nuances that can show up in how people relate to family expectations, community, and personal identity, especially when those layers feel complex or hard to articulate. Right now in particular, I recognize how important it can be to have a space where you don’t need to explain the background or minimize what you’re feeling just to be understood.

In my work, I aim to offer that kind of space, where you can speak freely without having to translate your experience or hold back parts of yourself. The focus is on helping you feel seen, understood, and supported in a way that feels natural and grounded. My hope is that you can bring your full self into the room and feel like there’s room for all of it, without judgment or pressure to be anything other than where you are.
