Michal Marchette, LCSW's style
š Listener š„ Empowering š§ Calm š¤ CollaborativeWhy Michal Marchette, LCSW chose to be in the helping profession
I chose the helping profession because I have seen firsthand how powerful it is to be met with understanding rather than judgment. Being truly heard and accepted can shift something deep, especially in moments of pain or uncertainty. I never want the people I work with to feel alone in what they are carrying, and I believe that compassionate presence can make even the hardest experiences feel more manageable.
At the core of my work is the belief that people already carry the answers they need within themselves. Healing unfolds when there is space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of lived experiences without pressure or expectation. My role is to offer steady support as clients reconnect with their inner compass, build clarity, and move forward in a way that feels aligned, grounded, and true to who they are.
Michal Marchette, LCSW's approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative and insight oriented, grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each personās unique experience. I see therapy as a shared process, one where we work together to better understand what is happening beneath the surface and why certain patterns keep showing up. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to be open, thoughtful, and honest, without pressure to have everything figured out.
I help clients make sense of their emotions, relationships, and recurring dynamics in ways that feel manageable and clarifying. Rather than rushing toward quick solutions, I value taking the time to explore experiences with care and intention. This kind of thoughtful exploration supports lasting change, deeper self understanding, and a growing sense of trust in oneās own inner guidance as life continues to unfold.
What you can expect from sessions with Michal Marchette, LCSW
In our sessions, you can expect a supportive space where you do not have to have everything figured out before you arrive. Therapy is not about performing or having the right answers, but about showing up as you are and taking things one step at a time. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, with attention to what feels safe, meaningful, and manageable in each moment.
Together, we will explore your experiences with care and genuine curiosity, allowing space for reflection and understanding to unfold naturally. Over time, this process can help you gain clarity, feel more centered, and strengthen trust in yourself and your inner knowing. My goal is for each session to feel steady, thoughtful, and supportive, never rushed or pressured, and grounded in respect for your process.
Michal Marchette, LCSW's experience working with the Jewish community
I have extensive experience working within the Jewish community and bring a deep understanding of Jewish values, culture, and communal life into my work. This background allows me to approach therapy with awareness of the nuances that often shape peopleās experiences, relationships, and sense of identity. I hold this work with care, sensitivity, and respect, knowing that Jewish life and community can be both a source of meaning and a place of complexity.
I welcome the full range of ways people experience their relationship to Judaism and Jewish community, including feelings of connection, conflict, anger, or ambivalence. There is space in the work for all of it, without judgment or expectation. My goal is to offer thoughtful, professional support that feels culturally attuned, grounded, and open enough to honor each personās lived experience as it truly is.

What people have to say about working with me:
-
Michal has so much knowledge intuitively, and yet she is always seeking to learn and grow more. Her caring for her clients is evident in every conversation. Her dedication to doing good work is apparent in the way she seeks feedback and is so thoughtful in accepting and applying it. I always say that a huge gift of joining this field is meeting colleagues-turned-friends and Michal is a real example of that!
