Kimberly Johnson's experience working with the Jewish community
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working closely with the Jewish community, gaining invaluable experience and insights. My work has spanned various facets, including trauma and crisis response, which has led me to become an active member of organizations such as the NYC Medical Reserve Corps REST team, Nassau County Medical Reserve Corps, Nassau County CERT, American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health team, and the Green Cross Team. My role as an Assistant Professor at Touro College's Department of Behavioral Science's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, where I've been an educator since 2007, has further strengthened my commitment to fostering compassion fatigue awareness and education within diverse backgrounds.
