Why Sol Katz chose to be in the helping profession

Hashem has blessed me with many talents, and in both my personal life and professional career, I have been able to achieve a great deal, B"H. I know that I have the capability to lead and run a large operation at the level of an Owner or CEO. Over time, I have recognized that while those skills are real and valuable, they are not the core of my purpose. They are part of what I carry, but not the full picture of what I am meant to do.

My true calling is to help others break through to their next level, especially those who feel stuck and unable to move forward. Hashem gave me these abilities for a reason, and I see them as something I am meant to use in service of others. For me, this is the meaning of response-ability, the responsibility that comes from recognizing a gift and responding to it by helping people grow beyond where they are now.

This work is meaningful to me because it is not only about professional growth and change, but also about serving Hashem in the process. The intention behind what I do is grounded in that deeper purpose, where helping someone move forward in their life is also part of something greater than the individual session itself.

I am also a founder of hemanti.org, where we work to inspire Jews everywhere to live with greater Bitachon in Hashem. Bitachon is the foundation of everything, including my professional practice, and it shapes the way I think about growth and change. When there is clarity in Bitachon, it becomes possible to engage in powerful and effective Hishtadlus, in a way that is both grounded and purposeful.
