💙 Warm 💪 Challenging 👂 Listener 💡 Solution-orientedWhy Rina Deutsch chose to be in the helping profession
I’ve always been someone people naturally come to for support, even as a teenager. That role stayed with me over time and deepened through my own life experiences, shaping how I understand what it really means to feel seen, heard, and understood. I’ve come to value just how powerful those moments are, because that’s often where clarity begins. When someone feels truly listened to, something shifts, and what once felt overwhelming can start to feel more manageable and possible.
I’ve seen time and time again how even one meaningful conversation can change the way someone sees their situation and what’s available to them. That shift, even if it feels small at first, can open the door to more confidence, direction, and a sense of steadiness. I chose this work because I want to be part of that process, helping people move through challenges with greater clarity and trust in themselves. No one should have to navigate those moments alone, and I aim to offer a space where you feel supported every step of the way.
Rina Deutsch's approach
My approach to coaching is collaborative and supportive, built around meeting you exactly where you are. We start by exploring your current situation—what’s working, what isn’t, and what might be keeping you stuck. Often, people notice that their fear of staying the same has become stronger than their fear of change, and even when moving forward feels intimidating, they know it’s time to take the next step. Together, we’ll get clear on where you want to go, who you want to be, and what a life that truly aligns with your values looks like.
From there, we focus on what you can control while learning to release what you can’t. We break everything down into realistic, manageable steps, creating a roadmap that makes progress feel possible instead of overwhelming. The goal is to build clarity, confidence, and meaningful change, all while ensuring you have guidance and support at every stage. You won’t have to navigate any of it alone, and every step is designed to help you feel more aligned, empowered, and steady in your journey.
What you can expect from sessions with Rina Deutsch
When we meet, you’ll have the space to say what’s really on your mind—everything you’ve been thinking, overthinking, or even avoiding—and be truly heard without judgment. I’ll listen closely and reflect back what I hear, helping you untangle the thoughts and patterns that might be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll identify small, practical steps that actually move you forward without feeling overwhelming or impossible.
I’ll ask the questions that encourage you to see things from a new perspective, challenge the beliefs that no longer serve you, and guide you toward a path that feels manageable and authentic. By the end of our time together, you’ll leave with clarity, a stronger sense of direction, and the reassurance that you don’t have to face any of it alone. Every step is about making progress while feeling supported and capable.
Rina Deutsch's experience working with the Jewish community
Before making Aliyah in August 2025, I spent seven years teaching at B'nei Akiva Schools in Toronto, guiding young women as they navigated both school and life with greater confidence. Prior to that, I spent three years helping build NCSY Canada’s Jewish Family Experience program, creating meaningful ways for families from diverse Jewish backgrounds to connect to Jewish life. From 2014 to 2023, I also served as a Community Leader on eight Momentum (formerly JWRP) trips to Israel, including a year of follow-up, supporting participants as they explored their values, built confidence, and strengthened their Jewish identity.
I speak regularly for shuls and Jewish organizations, sharing talks that blend practical life strategies with Jewish wisdom. Across all of these experiences, I’ve had the privilege of helping Jewish women of all ages work through challenges, make thoughtful choices, and step into their potential. My goal has always been to show that meaningful change is possible while providing the reassurance that they have someone in their corner every step of the way. This work continues to inspire me and deepens my commitment to supporting women as they grow, navigate, and thrive.
