💙 Warm 👂 Listener 🌎 Holistic 🙏 SpiritualWhy Rikki Ash chose to be in the helping profession
For years, I taught high school students and loved every minute of it. There’s something so powerful about witnessing potential take shape, about helping someone discover who they are and what they’re capable of. Over time, I felt a pull to offer support beyond the classroom, to be there for people not just as they study for finals, but as they navigate real life: its transitions, challenges, relationships, and deeper questions.
Becoming a kallah teacher was a natural next step, as it let me stay connected to so many of my former students and be part of their lives in a new, sacred way. But still, something in me kept nudging: there’s more.
That quiet urge is what led me to 1:1 coaching, giving workshops, and writing. I love creating spaces where adults and teens can be honest, go deep, and build lives that feel aligned, purposeful, and whole.
A turning point came when my grandfather, who spent over five decades as a community rabbi, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I asked if I could interview him so I could share his story. He had lived a life so rooted in meaning, and I wanted to understand what fueled him. What started as a book project became a deep personal journey. (and thank God a book too!) Through that process, I discovered Logotherapy and realized that helping people uncover meaning was not just something I admired in him, it was something I felt called to do myself.
Everything I offer, from one-on-one coaching to kallah classes to speaking engagements and group programs, is about helping people connect to what matters most. I bring together psychology, spirituality, and research-backed tools to help people move through life with more clarity and intention. I combine practical strategies with deep listening and intuition. I try to bring warmth, presence, and a grounded approach that blends both insight and action. I believe that meaning already exists inside each person. We don't have to create it from scratch. We just have to create space to uncover it, especially during times of transition or challenge.
That’s the heart of my work. Whether I am speaking to a room full of women, working privately with a mother of 6, coaching a teen, or teaching a bride, my goal is always the same: to help people feel more rooted, more alive, and more connected to their own inner compass and soul.
Rikki Ash's approach
My approach to coaching is rooted in the belief that every person holds within them a deep well of meaning and potential. Sometimes it just takes the right questions to access it. I draw heavily from the work of Viktor Frankl, especially his framework of "Logoanalysis," which helps uncover the meaning behind our struggles and gently guides us out of feelings of emptiness or inadequacy.
Blending my background in psychology, education, and spiritual thought, I help clients explore the core questions of identity, purpose, and direction. Together, we reflect on your values, beliefs, relationships, and inner voice to both gain insight and take action that feels aligned with your soul.
While I’ve trained in a variety of modalities, my work leans forward: we focus on what you can create from here, even when life feels uncertain or stuck. Whether you're navigating a big transition, wrestling with self-doubt, or seeking a deeper sense of meaning in the day-to-day, coaching with me is a space to think clearly, feel deeply, and move purposefully.
What you can expect from sessions with Rikki Ash
What You Can Expect From Our Sessions
Our coaching sessions are a space for honest reflection, clarity, and meaningful growth. I approach our work together with curiosity, compassion, and a deep belief in your potential. Here’s what you can expect:
A Clear Vision
We’ll begin by creating a grounded and expansive vision of the life you want to live—emotionally, spiritually, and practically. This vision becomes your anchor and compass, helping you make aligned decisions and stay connected to what truly matters.
Mindset and Meaning
We'll explore the beliefs, patterns, and inner narratives that may be getting in your way. Using tools from psychology, Logotherapy, and spiritual thought, we’ll uncover the deeper meaning behind your struggles and work on shaping a mindset that is empowering and true to who you are.
Personalized Tools and Support
You’ll receive practical, tailored strategies to help you navigate challenges, manage your energy and time, and stay emotionally grounded. Whether it's decision-making tools, values-based planning, or techniques for handling overwhelm, everything is customized to support your growth.
Reconnection to Soul and Strength
Part of our work involves helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and creative spirit. This is the part of you that often gets buried under stress, self-doubt, or the pressure to meet others’ expectations. Together, we'll revive that connection and learn how to live and lead from it.
Actionable Goals and Accountability
We’ll set meaningful goals that move you closer to the life you envision. I’ll support you in staying focused and following through, while giving you space to adapt and grow as your clarity deepens.
This process isn’t just about achieving more. It’s about living with more intention, alignment, and soul. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, direction, or deeper purpose, our sessions will help you move forward with confidence and authenticity.
Rikki Ash's experience working with the Jewish community
My work as a coach is deeply shaped by my connection to the Jewish community, especially within the Orthodox world. Having taught high school girls for nearly ten years and guided brides for six, I understand how Jewish life influences every part of who we are: our relationships, values, and sense of self.
I know firsthand that faith and belief in God can feel complicated at times, especially when life brings challenges or uncertainty. These complexities are a natural part of the journey, and I help my clients navigate them with honesty and compassion, if that is something they want to explore and work through together.
As a coach, I support adults and teens both inside and outside the Jewish community to find clarity, balance, and meaning in their lives. Whether you’re struggling with your spiritual path, managing the demands of daily life, or seeking a deeper sense of purpose, I’m here to listen and guide you toward practical, personalized strategies that honor your unique story.
Currently pursuing a doctorate in Jewish educational leadership, I combine academic insight rooted in Jewish values and personal experience within the community. This background informs my coaching practice and allows me to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your challenges, reconnect with your values, and move forward with confidence and authenticity.

Rikki is an excellent coach. She really helped me focus on the real challenges, weeding out the less important problems. She had very helpful strategies for pinpointing what I really wanted in life and worked with my "list" to show me how feasible it was to attain. She made herself available to me anytime between our sessions which was particularly helpful since many difficulties crop up at other times and it feels so good to have a listening ear when you need it most. I highly recommend her as a coach!!
