My own struggle with chronic insomnia and other physical and mental health challenges is what led me into this work.
I know what it feels like to lie awake exhausted, frustrated, and wondering why nothing seems to work. I know how isolating it can be when your body feels stuck and your mind will not let go.
That experience gave me a deep sense of empathy, but also a mission. Today, I help people who are tired of surface-level advice finally understand the deeper reasons they are struggling and guide them toward lasting change, better health, and real, natural sleep.

My approach is holistic, integrative, and highly personalized.
I do not just look at the sleep issue itself. I look at the whole person and the deeper reasons the problem developed in the first place. For some people that means stress, anxiety, burnout, or subconscious fear. For others it may involve habits, relationships, unresolved emotions, breathing, hormones, gut health, or nervous system dysregulation.
Most of my clients have already tried sleep hygiene, supplements, medication, or even therapy before they come to me. They are frustrated because nothing seems to create lasting change.
Together, we work to understand what is really keeping your mind and body stuck, so you can stop fighting sleep and start feeling safe enough to rest again.
What you can expect from sessions with Doron Lazarus, CISC
In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, practical, and highly personalized process focused on both the symptoms and the deeper root causes of your sleep struggles.
Depending on your needs, I may draw from sleep coaching, mindset work, CBT, ACT, hypnosis, exposure work, nervous system regulation, and behavioral change strategies. When appropriate, we may also explore functional testing, breathing, hormone balance, digestion, and other physical factors that can affect sleep.
This is not about giving you a generic bedtime routine and sending you on your way. It is about understanding why your body and mind no longer feel safe enough to sleep and helping you create real, lasting change.

As an observant Jew and former rabbi, I have a deep understanding of the pressures, values, and rhythms of Jewish life.
Many of the people I work with come from observant backgrounds, including rabbis, business owners, educators, community leaders, and parents carrying tremendous responsibility. I understand the unique challenges that can affect sleep in the Jewish world, whether that means stress around Shabbos and Yom Tov, late-night learning, communal obligations, large families, dating, fertility struggles, or the pressure to always keep going.
Because of that shared understanding, clients often feel comfortable opening up about issues they may not discuss elsewhere. My goal is to provide support that is not only effective, but also culturally sensitive, respectful, and aligned with your values.
