Why Traci Levine, MSW chose to be in the helping profession

I was drawn to the helping profession because I believe healing is both a personal and collective journey. With a background in social work, nonprofit leadership, and now sound healing and astrology, I've always felt called to support people through transformation. Whether guiding teens through identity-shaping programs or helping users navigate complex digital systems, my focus has always been on reducing friction, emotionally, spiritually, or technologically.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed how being seen, heard, and supported can change lives. I’ve experienced the pain of being overlooked and the power of being held, and I bring that understanding into every space I work in. My path has woven through tech, wellness, and community, but the through line has always been care. Helping others isn’t a job for me; it’s a soul contract.

Traci Levine, MSW's experience working with the Jewish community

My connection to the Jewish community is deeply personal and professionally rooted, shaped by a lifelong devotion to healing, mentorship, and sacred service. I hold a Bachelor’s in Judaic Studies and a Master of Social Work from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, where I specialized in community organizing and clinical support through a Jewish lens.

Professionally, I’ve served in roles that center Jewish identity, resilience, and inclusion. At CAJE-Miami, I led teen engagement and alumni initiatives for March of the Living, creating intergenerational programs that wove remembrance into healing. With Friendship Circle Miami, I designed inclusive programming for children and teens with special needs, blending spiritual care with emotional support and cultivating a culture of empathy and belonging among volunteers.

Through AERARA, my current practice, I guide Jewish women’s circles and seasonal rituals that align with the Hebrew months and the sacred cycles of the year. These gatherings integrate sound healing, Kabbalistic wisdom, and embodied practices—honoring the feminine spirit within Jewish tradition. Whether through one-on-one mentorship or community ceremony, my work continues to center the Jewish soul’s need for connection, renewal, and rooted transformation.
