Why Suri Schwartz chose to be in the helping profession

As a mother of six children, I found myself constantly searching for answers and support, especially in the early years of parenting. I reached out to experts, took courses, and read countless books, always wanting to better understand my children, myself, and the kind of home I hoped to create. Through that process, I slowly began transforming into a calmer, more confident person and mother. Experiencing that kind of growth firsthand gave me clarity, hope, and a much deeper understanding of how powerful the right support can be during the challenges of marriage and parenting.

Witnessing my own transformation ignited a deep desire within me to share that gift of clarity with others. Over time, I naturally found myself advising and supporting women through struggles in their marriages, parenting, and home life. There is nothing that brings me greater joy than seeing a mother regain her confidence, watching her children begin to cooperate, and helping transform the atmosphere of an entire household. Empowering a woman to reconnect with joy, love, and peace in a marriage that once felt filled with misery is something I find truly invaluable, and it is work I feel deeply grateful to do every day.

Suri Schwartz's approach

I believe coaching should lead to real results and meaningful change. My goal is to help you gain confidence, feel more grounded, and move toward the kind of relationships and home life you truly want, whether that means seeing positive changes in your child, creating more connection in your marriage, or bringing greater ease into your relationships. I care deeply about helping my clients move forward in a way that feels practical, sustainable, and aligned with who they are. If either of us feels that we are not making progress, I believe in honestly reevaluating together, whether that means adjusting our approach or recognizing that a different type of support may be a better fit.

Deep listening and compassion are at the heart of how I work. I truly listen without agenda, assumptions, or judgment because I know how powerful it can be for someone to finally feel heard and understood. So much growth can happen when a person feels safe enough to be fully honest about what they are carrying. Trust is also a key part of my work. I genuinely believe in my clients’ capabilities, their desire to do good, and their ability to grow through life’s challenges. I see each woman as the expert in her own life, while I offer guidance, support, tools, and plenty of hand-holding from the heart along the way.

What you can expect from sessions with Suri Schwartz

I begin every coaching relationship by getting to know the real you, not just the struggles bringing you here, but also your strengths, values, hopes, and dreams. I want to understand the kind of life, relationships, and home you truly want to create, as well as what may be standing in the way. Together, we map out a greater goal and create a clear vision for where you want to get to. I believe meaningful change happens when a person feels seen as a whole human being, not just as a problem that needs to be fixed.

In each session, we set an intention and gently dive into what may be holding you back. Through different modalities, empowering mindsets, practical tools, and new perspectives, we begin creating shifts that often impact far more than one area of life. My goal is for you to feel completely safe being yourself without judgment, pressure, or shame. You can expect to feel trusted, respected, and deeply heard, with your perspective, personality, and style fully honored throughout the process. Again and again, I’ve seen how even a few sessions can create incredible shifts in confidence, connection, clarity, and peace within a person and their relationships.

Suri Schwartz's experience working with the Jewish community

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and after getting married, I spent eight meaningful years living in Jerusalem. My years in Yerushalayim shaped me deeply, both personally and professionally. I had the privilege of learning from incredible teachers, including Rebbetzin Sima Spetner, Tammy Karmel, and Dina Friedman, whose wisdom and guidance continue to influence the way I support women today. During that time, I also built friendships with women from all over the world, which gave me a deeper understanding of what connects us as growing Jewish mothers and wives, regardless of where we come from or what our backgrounds may look like.

After moving back to Boro Park, Brooklyn, I taught high school for ten years while continuing my training to become a parenting and relationship coach. Today, I live in Montreal, Canada, where I lead parenting and marriage classes for women’s groups and coach full-time. I understand the unique nuances, gifts, values, and challenges that exist within Heimishe homes, schools, and communities around the world. I genuinely love working with Jewish mothers and wives from every stage and walk of life, and I feel grateful to support women from places including Israel, the Tri-State area, Florida, Montreal, and beyond. No matter where a woman lives, there is something deeply powerful about helping her feel more confident, connected, and supported within herself, her marriage, and her home.
