Why Real Talk Women's Support Group chose to be in the helping profession
The Real Talk Women’s Support Group is a space where women can breathe, connect, and simply be themselves. Our goal is to nurture a safe and compassionate environment where real conversations can unfold — the kind that allow honesty, laughter, tears, and everything in between. In a world that often asks us to look polished and put-together, this group offers a refreshing pause: a place to let the guard down and show up exactly as we are, without masks or expectations.
Here, women are invited to explore their emotions, embrace vulnerability, and reconnect with their truest selves in the company of others who genuinely get it. Through open dialogue and shared experience, we build self-awareness, resilience, and a deep sense of healing that comes only from being truly seen and heard. Many of the connections formed here continue outside the group, evolving into friendships that remind each woman she’s not alone on her journey of growth and self-discovery. This is more than a support group — it’s a community of women showing up for one another, growing stronger together, one honest conversation at a time.
Real Talk Women's Support Group's approach
The Real Talk Women’s Support Group is for women who crave genuine connection, emotional support, and personal growth in a safe and judgment-free space. It’s a place for those who feel worn out by surface-level interactions and long for real, meaningful conversations that bring clarity, comfort, and healing. This group is especially meaningful for women moving through life transitions, stress, or moments of isolation, who want to reconnect with their inner strength and sense of purpose. It’s an opportunity to slow down, take a breath, and be seen for who you truly are — not for who the world expects you to be.
At its heart, this group is about the power of authenticity and shared vulnerability. Each conversation is an invitation to grow, to rediscover parts of yourself you may have tucked away, and to feel the relief of being fully understood. Together, we explore what it means to show up honestly and support one another through the real stuff — the joys, the struggles, and everything in between. The connections formed here often grow beyond the group itself, evolving into meaningful relationships that remind each woman she’s not alone, and that growth feels most powerful when it’s shared.
What you can expect from sessions with Real Talk Women's Support Group
Participants can expect a warm, welcoming space to connect with other women through weekly in-person sessions held in Brooklyn, NY. Each gathering provides an opportunity for open and meaningful conversation, guided reflection, and genuine emotional support within a nurturing all-female environment. Together, we explore real-life experiences in a way that feels safe, honest, and deeply validating.
To help foster deeper self-expression and insight, sessions occasionally include sandtray therapy — a creative and reflective approach that allows for exploration beyond words. Full confidentiality is always maintained so every woman can feel respected, protected, and free to share authentically. Between sessions, members are invited to stay connected through a private WhatsApp group, where encouragement and community support continue throughout the week. This ongoing connection helps the sense of safety and sisterhood extend far beyond the walls of the group room.
Real Talk Women's Support Group's experience working with the Jewish community
I have had the privilege of working with the Jewish community for many years, supporting both children and adults in a variety of settings. My work in local clinics has allowed me to provide clinical care that honors the unique needs, values, and sensitivities of the frum community. Over the years, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the balance many individuals strive to maintain between personal well-being and communal or family responsibilities, and I bring that awareness into every session.
In addition to my clinical work, I maintain a private practice where I support individuals and families through a client-centered, culturally sensitive approach. I also serve as a supervisor for a social-service agency, guiding developing clinicians as they grow their skills and confidence within a culturally observant framework. These experiences have given me a rich understanding of both the strengths and challenges that shape our community. Above all, they’ve reinforced my belief in the importance of compassionate, thoughtful care that meets each person where they are and helps them move toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.
