You don’t need to be a better parent. You need space to be a real one.

Real Talk Women's Support Group's Purpose or Mission

My mission is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where mothers can slow down and explore their inner experience of parenting. Through sand tray and guided journaling, I offer gentle, reflective tools that help parents notice what they are carrying—emotionally, mentally, and relationally. This group is not about fixing parenting challenges or learning strategies, but about tending to the person behind the role. I believe that when parents are given space to feel, reflect, and be supported, greater clarity, self-compassion, and grounding naturally emerge. By honoring parents’ inner worlds, I aim to foster resilience, connection, and a deeper sense of steadiness within the ongoing work of parenting.

Real Talk Women's Support Group is designed for

This group is designed for mothers who feel emotionally stretched, overwhelmed, or in need of space to pause and reflect. It may be especially helpful for parents who are carrying a lot internally and rarely have the opportunity to focus on their own inner experience. This group is well-suited for mothers who are curious about self-reflection and personal growth, even if they are new to sand tray or journaling. It is appropriate for parents who are seeking emotional support rather than parenting advice or skills. This group is not limited to any specific parenting challenge and welcomes mothers at all stages who want a gentler, more reflective way to reconnect with themselves.

Participants who join Real Talk Women's Support Group can expect

Participants can expect a warm, welcoming space to connect with other women through weekly in-person sessions held in Brooklyn, NY. Each gathering provides an opportunity for open and meaningful conversation, guided reflection, and genuine emotional support within a nurturing all-female environment. Together, we explore real-life experiences in a way that feels safe, honest, and deeply validating.

To support reflection and deeper self-awareness, sessions incorporate sand tray therapy—a gentle, creative approach that allows parents to explore their inner experience beyond words. Full confidentiality is maintained so every parent can feel respected, protected, and free to share in a way that feels authentic and safe. Between sessions, members are invited to stay connected through a private WhatsApp group, offering ongoing encouragement and a sense of shared understanding throughout the week. This continued connection helps the feeling of support and belonging extend beyond the group space and into daily life.

Jewish Community Experience

I have had the privilege of working with the Jewish community for many years, supporting parents, children, and families across a variety of settings. My work in local clinics has allowed me to provide care that honors the unique needs, values, and sensitivities of the frum community, particularly as they relate to parenting and family life. Over the years, I have come to deeply appreciate the balance many parents strive to maintain between personal well-being and their responsibilities to family and community, and I bring this understanding into each group session.

In addition to my clinical work, I maintain a private practice where I support parents and families through a client-centered, culturally sensitive approach. I also serve as a supervisor for a social service agency, guiding developing clinicians as they build their skills and confidence within a culturally sensitive framework. These experiences have given me a rich understanding of both the strengths and challenges that shape our community. Above all, they have reinforced my belief in the importance of compassionate, thoughtful support that meets parents where they are and helps them move toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being within the role of parenting
