Dr. Kelly Romirowsky, PsyD's style
🎯 Direct 💙 Warm 💡 Solution-oriented 🥇 EmpoweringWhy Dr. Kelly Romirowsky, PsyD chose to be in the helping profession
I chose the helping profession because I am passionate about helping people better understand the challenges they are facing and supporting them in creating meaningful, lasting change. I am drawn to the process of identifying the underlying factors contributing to a person’s difficulties and developing an accurate understanding of what is happening. When people understand what is driving their symptoms, they can begin to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and effectiveness.
I find it deeply rewarding to use evidence-based treatment to help clients achieve outcomes they may have once believed were out of reach. Through my PSYPACT authorization, I also provide telehealth services to clients across participating states and jurisdictions, making specialized psychological care more accessible. Seeing clients develop practical skills, regain a sense of control, and experience lasting progress is what continues to make this work so meaningful to me.
Dr. Kelly Romirowsky, PsyD's approach
My approach begins with understanding what is driving your anxiety, distress, or unwanted patterns. Together, we will identify the thoughts, behaviors, experiences, and emotional responses that may be keeping you stuck. From there, I will create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, goals, and circumstances.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize and change the thoughts and behaviors that reinforce anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, we can process difficult memories so they have less influence on your emotions, relationships, and daily life. I also use Exposure and Response Prevention to help clients gradually face anxiety and OCD triggers without relying on avoidance or compulsions. When appropriate, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy to strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, and build practical skills for navigating stress.
What you can expect from sessions with Dr. Kelly Romirowsky, PsyD
You can expect sessions that are structured, collaborative, and focused on meaningful progress. Together, we will develop a clear treatment plan with achievable goals and regularly monitor how you are progressing. The strategies we use will be evidence-based and tailored to your specific symptoms, needs, and priorities.
I provide honest, direct feedback while creating a supportive space where you can better understand yourself and practice new skills. Our work will focus on changes you can apply in your daily life, not only on what we discuss during sessions. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control, not to keep you in therapy longer than necessary.
Dr. Kelly Romirowsky, PsyD's experience working with the Jewish community
I have significant experience working with clients from Jewish backgrounds and understand the many ways Jewish identity can shape emotional well-being and mental health. Cultural values, faith, family dynamics, traditions, and community expectations can all influence how someone experiences a challenge and approaches treatment. I make space for these factors with sensitivity and respect rather than making assumptions about what being Jewish means to you.
Every person’s relationship with Judaism is different, so I tailor treatment to your unique circumstances, values, and goals. For some clients, Jewish identity is central to how they understand themselves and their experiences. For others, it is one part of a broader personal story. Wherever you fall on that spectrum, our work will reflect what matters to you and the life you want to create.
