My natural instinct has always been to help people. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an innate desire to share whatever I learn with others. Whenever I come across something that I believe can make a difference, I feel compelled to pass it along. Helping people grow and get more out of life feels natural to me—it’s something I’ve always had a talent, ability, and passion for.
I always knew I wanted to be in the helping profession, though I wasn’t initially sure what path I would take. My journey began early. I’ve been studying self-development since I was nine years old. One day, I stumbled upon a book at home called 'Think and Grow Rich". The author described it as a formula for transforming the desire for any goal into its physical accomplishment. That book planted a seed in me, and my curiosity about self-development only grew from there.
I was raised in a traditional Jewish home, but it wasn’t until college that I became more religious through Chabad on Campus. As I deepened my connection to Judaism, I noticed many similarities between the principles of Judaism and the teachings of self-development. This realization fueled my passion to study both areas as deeply as I could, weaving them together in a way that resonated with me.
Over time, my exploration of self-development evolved. I dove into its history and major works, and one day, I discovered a book called "Psycho-Cybernetics". That book was a turning point—it opened the door to new ideas, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). My study of NLP eventually led me to Hypnotherapy, and for the first time, I felt like I had found my true calling. Hypnotherapy combined everything I valued: the ability to empower people, guide them through transformation, and help them create lasting change in their lives.
As my passion solidified, I sought out the best possible training. That’s when I discovered Paul McKenna, one of the world’s most renowned hypnotherapists. Learning from him felt like the perfect opportunity to bring my passion and skills to the world at large. This journey—rooted in a lifetime of curiosity, learning, and growth—has finally brought me to where I’ve always wanted to be: in the helping profession, using my gifts to make a meaningful impact.
Sagi Chekroun's approach
My coaching is tailor-made to suit your unique personal experiences and guide you toward the future you desire. We don’t need to dwell on past traumas or mistakes, and it's not necessary to share sensitive personal details. Instead, I focus on helping you gain a high-level, bird’s-eye view of any negative experiences from the past—seeing them with perspective, rather than getting stuck in reliving them.
From there, I guide you to connect with, feel, and fully immerse yourself in your future self—a version of you that is happier, healthier, and even more successful. My goal is to empower you to align with that vision and take practical steps to bring it to life.

Sagi Chekroun's experience working with the Jewish community
As a Lubavitcher Chassid living in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, I am deeply immersed in the Jewish community every day. My day job allows me to interact with a wide range of Jewish customers and colleagues, fostering meaningful connections in a professional setting. Beyond work, I actively contribute to and support my shul, which plays a central role in my life and the community around me.
My wife and I also host a warm and welcoming Shabbos program, inviting guests from around the world who are visiting or learning in Crown Heights. This has been a particularly rewarding experience, as it allows us to share the beauty of Shabbos, create connections, and offer a sense of belonging to those away from home. These opportunities have given me a rich and fulfilling way to engage with and support the Jewish community in multiple aspects of my life.

Sagi helped me to gain a desire and greater ability to learn Gemara. The next week my Rebbe told my parents randomly that he saw great improvement in my studies.
