Why Rachel Burnham chose to be in the helping profession

I myself went through 14 years of dating, meeting hundreds of men and going on thousands of dates, with multiple broken engagements along the way. It was a long and often painful journey, filled with hope, disappointment, and a constant search for clarity and direction. When I finally got married at 34, I felt such a strong pull to give back to the single world in the way I so deeply wish I had experienced at the time. That desire is what led me to coaching, where I can now support and empower singles and parents through one of the most significant and personal decisions of their lives.

I feel truly honored to be able to use both my knowledge and my lived experience to walk alongside others on this path. There is something incredibly meaningful about taking years of pain and turning it into something that can help someone else feel less alone and more grounded in the process. If I can help make your journey just a little smoother, a little calmer, or help you gain more clarity along the way, then it all feels worth it. I understand how overwhelming this stage can be, and I am here to support you through it with honesty, care, and perspective. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.

Rachel Burnham's approach

My approach to coaching is never pressuring or pushy. I’ve been there myself, and I know how discouraging and overwhelming that can feel. I meet each client exactly where they are—religiously, emotionally, and personally—because everyone’s journey is unique. I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds all over the world, and my goal is never to tell you what to do, but to break down complex challenges together and empower you to make the decisions that are right for you.

I use a range of tools, scales, exercises, and coaching modalities to help you show up as your best self while gaining clarity with the least possible anxiety. I guide you through understanding what you truly want, improving your personal presentation, expanding your network, navigating actual dates, and recognizing patterns where small shifts could make a big difference. I’m not focused on who you’re dating; I’m focused on helping you have your needs met and building a healthy relationship with long-term potential. Think of me as your rearview mirror, helping you see the blind spots you might miss on your own.

What you can expect from sessions with Rachel Burnham

Sessions are scheduled for an hour, but you have the flexibility to break that time into smaller increments if needed, saving any remaining time as a credit for a future session. Each session is purposeful and focused on practical, concrete goals, customized entirely around your needs rather than mine. We may explore the difference between what you truly need in a relationship versus what you want, helping you gain deeper clarity on your priorities. We might also look closely at your current dating options and decide which align best with your values and long-term vision.

Sessions can also involve examining how anxiety shows up in your dating life, how it affects your communication style, and discovering strategies to respond in ways that serve you best emotionally. The goal is always to reduce stress, provide targeted support, and empower you to make confident, informed decisions. Every session is designed to leave you feeling clearer, more grounded, and equipped with practical tools to navigate your journey successfully.

Rachel Burnham's experience working with the Jewish community

I have had the privilege of working with the Jewish community for over 12 years, supporting singles and parents through some of life’s most important decisions. Over the years, I’ve been featured on podcasts like Stories of Hope, Living Lechaim, YU Connects, and many more, and I continue to contribute to Family First Magazine’s advice column. I also encourage exploring the free content I share online, which offers guidance and insights to a wider audience.

I work with singles from all over the world, from both observant and non-observant backgrounds, and with people at every stage of the dating journey. Many of my clients are single and never married, while others are dating for the second or third time, seeking clarity and confidence in their next steps. I enjoy working with all ages and backgrounds, and I value the diversity and richness that each client brings to our conversations. It’s rewarding to see people gain clarity, make empowered choices, and feel more confident in their path forward.
