I come to the somewhat uncomfortable conclusion that the more psychologically mature and integrated the therapist is as a person, the more helpful is the relationship he provides. -Carl Rogers

EFT Therapists Process Group's Purpose or Mission

Our purpose is to create space for you to process what is happening inside you as you do this work. We focus on helping you understand the emotional weight that inevitably shows up in the room, especially when the work feels intense, personal, or activating. Rather than pushing those reactions aside, we invite you to slow down and make sense of them with care and curiosity. This is a place where your internal experience matters just as much as your clinical skill.

We are committed to helping you make sense of countertransference without shame and without judgment. As you strengthen your attunement to clients, we support you in staying regulated and grounded within yourself. Growth in EFT requires reflection, practice, and honest exploration, and none of that needs to happen in isolation. Our hope is that you feel less alone as you grow your EFT muscles and more supported as you continue to develop confidence, clarity, and depth in your work.

EFT Therapists Process Group is designed for

This group is designed for therapists learning EFT who know the work does not just live in the room with clients, but lives inside of them as well. It is a place to slow down and notice what this work brings up emotionally, both during sessions and after. Here, you can begin to make sense of your own responses while staying grounded and regulated as you hold so much for others. It is an invitation to process, connect, and grow alongside other therapists who are also doing this deeply relational work.

As you deepen your EFT practice, the work inevitably reaches into your own story. This group offers space to name the emotional weight of holding others and to sit with the confusion that can come with integrating a complex and demanding model. Together, we work through and gently untangle the parts of your own experience that get touched when you sit in such raw, intimate spaces with clients. You do not have to do this alone, and you do not have to have it all figured out to belong here.

Participants who join EFT Therapists Process Group can expect

Participants who join us can expect a steady and honest community where what gets stirred in you has a place to land. This is a space where you can slow down, speak openly, and stay anchored while doing demanding relational work that asks a great deal of you. You will be supported in expanding your capacity to attune while also tending to your own regulation and limits. The focus is on sustainability, not pushing through or burning out.

You will be joining other therapists who are willing to look inward with clarity and courage. Together, there is a shared commitment to showing up whole, both for clients and for yourselves. This work values reflection, humility, and presence over perfection. Over time, the community becomes a steady point of connection as you continue to grow in confidence, depth, and integrity in your clinical work.

Jewish Community Experience

Bassy Schwartz, LMFT, has found her work within the Jewish community to be both deeply meaningful and personally rewarding. Over the years, she has been involved in many areas of community life, with a particular focus on infertility support. In this work, she has helped raise awareness, develop thoughtful and sensitive programming, and collaborate closely with the PUAH Cares Team on case management. She has also been actively involved in advocacy for Agunot, offering professional support and contributing to programs and awareness efforts through organizations such as ORA. In addition to these initiatives, Bassy has taken on leadership roles within synagogue life, serving on boards and participating in broader community conversations.

Bassy believes that our vibrant Jewish community holds tremendous strengths alongside important opportunities for growth. She is especially drawn to helping create spaces where honest reflection, open dialogue, and expanded services can emerge in response to shared challenges. Her work is guided by a desire to deepen support for individuals and families through more thoughtful, accessible, and responsive approaches. Through collaboration and ongoing reflection, she hopes to help strengthen communal resources and contribute to lasting, positive change for all those who are part of this close-knit community.
