Emotional Regulation/ DBT Skills group
Event Description:
The goal of this group is twofold; to empower you with education of self-awareness, and the personal and practical skills necessary for emotional resilience. Firstly, you will be able to identify personal strengths and understand the core components of your internal emotional world. Built on the information, you will gain a toolbox of regulation skills to manage stress, overcome fears, and navigate challenging situations with calm strength.
Finally, you will develop a proactive mindset that shifts from feeling overwhelmed to approaching life’s inevitable challenges with calm acceptance rather than suffering.
When you can be okay with emotional openness you can start “living a life worth living!” With the self-allowance for healthy emotional expression, you will start to feel difficult feelings, while simultaneously embracing opportunities for joy, personal growth and fulfillment.
