Teen Girls Group's Purpose or Mission
Our purpose is to create a safe, respectful space where teen girls can speak openly and honestly about thoughts and feelings that are often kept inside. We understand how much can go unspoken during these years, and we aim to offer an environment where participants feel truly heard, supported, and accepted as they are. In this space, girls are encouraged to show up authentically, without pressure or judgment. The goal is to help each participant feel less alone in what they are carrying.
We also focus on supporting healthy identity development by helping girls explore who they are, what they value, and how they want to show up in their lives and relationships. Through guided conversations and shared experiences, participants build emotional awareness and resilience, learning to better understand, express, and regulate difficult feelings. As confidence grows, girls are supported in taking healthy risks such as using their voice, setting clear boundaries, and trying new ways of relating to others. Above all, we aim to foster a genuine sense of connection and belonging through empathy, shared experience, and supportive peer relationships.
Teen Girls Group is designed for
Adolescence can be an especially challenging time for girls as they navigate friendships, school pressure, family dynamics, identity, and growing emotional awareness. Many teens benefit from having a supportive space where they can talk openly and process these experiences and realize they are not alone.
This group at Core Relationships provides a supportive space for teenage girls to talk openly about friendships, school stress, family dynamics, self-esteem, and emotions. Participants learn skills for emotional regulation, communication, and building confidence while connecting with peers navigating similar experiences.
Participants who join Teen Girls Group can expect
Participants who join us can expect a warm, confidential space where honesty is respected and no one is ever pressured to share more than they are ready for. We move at a thoughtful pace so each teen can feel comfortable showing up in her own way and in her own time. Emotional safety and mutual respect are central to the group experience. The intention is for every participant to feel both supported and empowered.
Through guided conversations about real life teen experiences such as friendships, identity, pressure, belonging, and self expression, girls have the opportunity to better understand their emotions and what drives their reactions. Participants learn practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, and common social challenges while also strengthening confidence, communication skills, and healthy boundaries in relationships. Just as important, the group offers meaningful connection with peers who are navigating similar experiences and often feeling many of the same things. Throughout the process, teens receive gentle encouragement to take growth oriented risks within a safe and supportive environment.
Jewish Community Experience
We believe that our vibrant Jewish community holds tremendous strengths, alongside meaningful opportunities for growth as we navigate shared challenges together. Our work is grounded in a deep respect for the values, relationships, and traditions that shape this community. At the same time, we recognize the importance of creating spaces where honest reflection and open dialogue can take root. We find deep fulfillment in helping build environments where thoughtful support feels both accessible and genuinely responsive to real needs.
Our goal is to deepen support within the community by promoting approaches that are attuned, inclusive, and grounded in understanding. We aim to help individuals and families feel truly seen, heard, and supported in ways that are both practical and meaningful. Through collaboration, ongoing reflection, and a commitment to shared growth, we hope to strengthen the resources available to the community as a whole. We believe that when we engage this work with care and intention, our close knit community can continue to thrive while honoring both its traditions and its natural capacity for growth and evolution.
