Shoshana Denberg's style
💙 Warm 🥇 Empowering 🌎 Holistic 🙏 SpiritualWhy Shoshana Denberg chose to be in the helping profession
As a mother and former teacher, I have always been drawn to helping others. Teaching gave me the opportunity to guide and support, but becoming a mother shaped my heart in a deeper way. When my first grandchild was born, something shifted within me. I felt a strong calling to support women through birth with calm, confidence, and joy, at a time when so many women are carrying fear into the experience.
Birth does not need to be something to fear. It is my passion to help women turn their fear into faith and trust in their bodies and in the process of birth. I believe deeply in helping women birth the way Hashem created us, with strength, dignity, and purpose. Walking alongside women during this sacred time is not just what I do, it is who I am.
Shoshana Denberg's approach
My approach is warm, positive, and faith based. As an educator at heart, I believe in giving women clear and meaningful information so they can make informed choices with confidence. The guidance I share is grounded in either evidence based research or Torah based wisdom, always with deep respect for each woman’s values and beliefs.
As a birth doula, I meet women where they are and honor how they want to be supported throughout their pregnancy and birth. Every woman’s journey is different, and my role is to listen closely and provide steady, compassionate support. As a holistic nutritionist, I encourage women to nourish their bodies with whole foods and to supplement with vitamins when needed. I focus on listening to each client and offering thoughtful suggestions that support both their pregnant body and the well being of their baby.
What you can expect from sessions with Shoshana Denberg
Our sessions are generally held over Zoom, though I also offer in person classes when available. You can choose to join a group session or meet with me privately, depending on what feels right for you. Each session begins with a check in, giving everyone a chance to share how they are doing. I also make space at the start for questions or concerns, so nothing feels rushed or overlooked.
Once we begin the course material, the sessions remain interactive and open. You are always welcome to interrupt, ask questions, or share thoughts at any point. Sessions typically last between one and a half to two hours, allowing time for learning, discussion, and connection. I also make myself available between sessions if you need support or have something you want to reach out about.
Shoshana Denberg's experience working with the Jewish community
I absolutely love working with the Jewish community. My teaching is deeply rooted in Torah, and I place a strong focus on the concepts of emunah, faith, and bitachon, trust, in every part of the journey. I believe that everything comes from Torah, and that when women connect to this foundation, they can approach birth with greater calm and confidence. After taking my course, my hope is that you will feel strengthened in your bitachon in Hashem, with a deep sense that He created you perfectly to birth your baby.
As a doula, I understand the unique needs that come with Shabbos, Yom Tov, and taharas hamishpachah. I am mindful of these sensitivities and honor them fully throughout our work together. I am here for you no matter the day of the week, and no matter the time of day or night. Your well being is always my priority, and I am here to support you in the way that feels right for you.
