Emerge is a holistic, community-based healing program for women navigating sexual trauma. Through group therapy, case management, somatic work, and creative expression, all under exceptional clinical oversight, we help participants move from survival toward renewal. Our six-month closed cohorts are intentionally designed to foster safety and trust, creating the space for women to process their experiences alongside others who understand. We believe that with the right support, it is possible to not only heal, but to transcend even our deepest wounds.
Our program blends innovative, body-based modalities with evidence-based therapies, honoring the deep connection between body, mind, and soul. By integrating traditional group therapy with somatic techniques, breathwork, art therapy, and therapeutic movement, we support healing on multiple levels. Participants are given the tools and support to process trauma, regulate stress, reconnect with their bodies, and develop a greater sense of safety within themselves. Together, these approaches create a comprehensive foundation for lasting well-being.
The Gap
Sustainable healing often requires more than traditional therapy alone. Community, embodied practices, consistent support, and steady, informed guidance can all play an important role in recovery, yet these elements are often missing or fragmented within traditional care. Following trauma, many survivors experience a sense of disconnection from their bodies, with experiences from the past continuing to shape how they feel and function in the present. Without the right support, it can feel difficult to move beyond simply surviving.
At Emerge, we bridge these gaps by bringing multiple aspects of healing together within one cohesive program. Body-centered therapies help participants gently restore their connection with themselves while cultivating safety, awareness, and presence. Group therapy provides the experience of healing within community, while individualized guidance helps each woman move through the process at her own pace. Rather than having to piece together a healing journey alone, participants receive integrated care designed to support the whole person.
Our Belief
Healing is not linear. It is a process of deep self-discovery through which individuals move through pain, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and gradually reconnect with parts of themselves that may have felt lost or disconnected. We believe healing requires patience, compassion, and the freedom to move at a pace that feels safe. There is no single path or timeline that every survivor is expected to follow.
At Emerge, we believe transformation is possible, and that no one should have to piece their healing journey together alone. With compassionate support, meaningful community, and therapeutic practices that address the mind, body, and soul, survivors can begin to experience themselves differently. Healing can become more than recovering from what happened; it can become an opportunity to reconnect with life, possibility, and a deeper sense of wholeness.
Our Mission
Emerge was created to bridge the gaps in traditional care by offering a space where frum women navigating sexual trauma can feel held, witnessed, understood, and guided. Our mission is to support survivors in rebuilding resilience, reconnecting with themselves, and reclaiming their lives. Through thoughtful clinical oversight and an integrated approach to care, we provide support that recognizes both the complexity of trauma and the individuality of each woman's healing process. Participants are never expected to navigate that process alone.
Through compassionate, integrated care, we help women move beyond survival and toward a more vibrant, empowered way of living. As healing unfolds, participants can expand their capacity for joy, freedom, connection, and a grounded sense of wholeness. Our goal is not to erase what has happened, but to help each woman discover that her trauma does not have to define what comes next. At Emerge, we hold a steady belief in the possibility of renewal.
Programs and services offered at Emerge
Emerge offers a complete, integrative path forward for women healing from sexual trauma. Each participant receives case management, with our Clinical Director collaborating directly with their professional team to ensure a cohesive care plan and a streamlined path toward recovery. Biweekly individual check-ins provide space to process insights and emotions that arise during group sessions while establishing manageable, realistic goals. Weekly trauma-informed group therapy brings women together in a safe, supportive environment that combines traditional therapeutic approaches with somatic and experiential work.
Our sessions weave together four therapeutic pathways: trauma processing, breathwork, art therapy, and yoga therapy. Guided trauma processing allows participants to safely explore difficult experiences in a held and compassionate space, while structured breathwork helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and deepen emotional awareness. Art therapy offers a way to explore experiences beyond words through color, texture, and image, while gentle, trauma-informed breathwork supports reconnection with the body and the development of a felt sense of safety. Each modality meets participants differently, through body, breath, image, and story, while working together as part of one integrated healing experience.
Jewish Community Experience
At Emerge, we recognize that healing is deeply personal and shaped by each woman's values, culture, and faith. Our holistic, trauma-informed program is thoughtfully designed for frum women, creating a culturally sensitive, safe, and respectful environment where participants can feel understood and supported. We honor the importance of spirituality in the healing journey and make space for each woman to strengthen her connection to her beliefs in a way that feels authentic to her. Women can engage in meaningful healing work without feeling that they need to separate their emotional experiences from their cultural or spiritual identity.
We recognize that emotional healing and spiritual growth are often deeply intertwined. Our approach therefore considers the whole woman, including her mind, body, soul, values, and personal beliefs. We strive to create a space where women can heal with dignity, compassion, and a deep respect for who they are. At Emerge, participants are supported in moving toward greater wholeness while remaining true to themselves and the values that matter most to them.

What our clients have to say about working with us:
-
This program has become something truly special to me. Through art, yoga, breathwork, and simply sitting together, we create a space that feels both scary and deeply comforting at the same time. Being with other survivors who understand without explanation has been incredibly healing. I'm able to show up here in ways I can't anywhere else, and I'm met with care, respect, and safety. What I love most is that this space isn't just about talking or staying in victim mode β it's truly growth-oriented, with gentle healing practices that help us actually move forward. This space feels like home for my heart β a place where I'm understood, protected, and gently supported in my healing.
