Coralle Zangi, MHC-LP's style
🎯 Direct 💙 Warm 💡 Solution-orientedWhy Coralle Zangi, MHC-LP chose to be in the helping profession
For as long as I can remember, I have been someone who thrives on deep conversations, meaningful human connection, and understanding why people are the way they are. I have always been curious about what shapes people’s experiences, the stories they carry, and the moments that influence who they become. I have experienced firsthand the lasting impact of having the right support in therapy, and that experience has taught me more about myself than almost anything else. It showed me the power of having a safe space where you can be honest, vulnerable, and truly seen.
That experience inspired my belief that therapy is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves, a space for healing, self-discovery, and growth. My work as a therapist continually reminds me that every person carries a unique story, along with their own struggles, pain, hopes, and dreams. I believe that living a fulfilling life begins with having a place to share those parts of ourselves with someone who truly listens, understands, and cares. My goal is to create an environment where every person who walks into my office feels seen, heard, accepted, and more connected to themselves. Together, we can explore what matters most to you so you can move toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.
Coralle Zangi, MHC-LP's approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity, empathy, and the belief that meaningful healing happens through genuine human connection. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be themselves without judgment, pressure, or the expectation of having everything figured out. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but about helping you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values. Whether you are navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, life transitions, or relationship challenges, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are while helping you move toward the life you want to create.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. During my graduate training, I completed a year-long internship at a community mental health agency, where I provided individual counseling focused on anger management, domestic violence, and parenting education for individuals working toward reunification with their children. This experience deepened my understanding of the resilience people possess, even during life’s most difficult seasons, and reinforced the importance of providing compassionate, nonjudgmental care.
My therapeutic approach is individualized and evidence-based, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Through EMDR, I help clients explore and process the root experiences, often originating in childhood, that continue to influence present-day thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. Rather than only focusing on managing symptoms, I believe in exploring the underlying experiences that contribute to them so that healing can happen at its source.
Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative process. My role is not to tell you who to be or what choices to make, but to help you reconnect with who you already are. I hope every client leaves our work together feeling more understood, more confident in themselves, and more connected to the life they truly want to live.
What you can expect from sessions with Coralle Zangi, MHC-LP
During a 50-minute session, you can expect an open and supportive environment where you are free to share whatever feels most important to you in that moment. Each session is tailored to your individual treatment goals, whether that means reducing anxiety, developing exposure strategies to manage OCD, strengthening relationships, processing past experiences, or gaining a deeper understanding of yourself. I believe that therapy should meet you where you are, which means our work together will be shaped around your needs, experiences, and goals.
I also make it a priority to begin each session by checking in on how you felt after our previous meeting and processing anything that has come up since then. Healing does not only happen during therapy. It continues between sessions, and those experiences often provide valuable opportunities for growth, reflection, and deeper understanding. My approach is empathetic, collaborative, and deeply human, and I want you to feel that you have a partner beside you throughout the process.
I often remind my clients, “Just because you’ve been carrying it on your own doesn’t mean you have to anymore.” During our time together, you are invited to set down whatever weight you have been carrying and know that you do not have to hold it alone. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions and experiences, while others may focus on building practical coping skills and creating what I like to call your personal toolkit, a collection of strategies, insights, and resources that you can carry with you through every stage of life.
Coralle Zangi, MHC-LP's experience working with the Jewish community
I grew up in a Modern Orthodox Jewish home in the Five Towns and am the child of two Israeli, Hebrew-speaking parents who instilled in me a deep love for Judaism, tradition, and community from an early age. My upbringing shaped the way I understand the importance of identity, belonging, values, and the role that faith and culture can play in a person’s life. I recognize that each person’s relationship with Judaism is unique, and I welcome the opportunity to learn about and honor the ways Judaism and spirituality are reflected in my clients’ daily lives.
I believe cultural humility is an essential part of therapy. If there is something I do not know or understand, I will approach it with curiosity, openness, and respect. I value learning about each client’s individual experiences and how their religious beliefs, traditions, and practices influence their relationships, choices, and overall well-being.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable integrating their faith into the therapeutic process while receiving evidence-based, clinically supported care that aligns with their personal values and beliefs. I strive to honor each person’s individual relationship with Judaism and ensure that therapy feels both culturally sensitive and deeply meaningful. Whether faith is a central part of your identity or one of many important aspects of who you are, I want you to feel understood, respected, and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.
